Fantastic video,watching this video has made me change my attitude and way of playing, being aggressive and pressuring the ball in my five a side league has resulted in opposition making mistakes and has led to me getting goals against the run of play,I'm more of a defensive player but now joint top scorer on the team. At the moment no, but keep your eyes open for some defending tutorials I will be doing in the future. You can make them play small sided possession games and make the main purpose of the drill to pressure quickly. Whoever is closet to the ball has to pressure the player within 3 seconds or everyone does pushups. Something like that.... have fun with it ;)

So true and what is also great about Messi is he is aggressive in the sense of competition and the same time playing clean and not having unnecessary body contacts. He certainly sets up an example to all the players who think being kind and being aggressive cant coexist, me included.

What can I do to shift from non aggressive to aggressive? I mean sometimes I'm afraid of getting tackled or injured, like I really want this to go away. I want to be aggressive and play hard what can I do daily to install that type of mentality?

Breathe. Realize it's out of your control. Demand the pass. Move into space to get the pass. Tell him he needs to pass the ball because he keeps getting tackled. Don't do it in a negative way. Do it in a nice, kind, teammate way.

This is wrong. If you wanna be agressive take out the shoulder its legal in soccer. And if you get beat then your screwed brcause most forwards are very fast. If he tries to run by you take the man!!! NOT THE BALL!!
