As a personal opinion I think it would be great if this new suicide squad
Joker wasnt the real joker and ends up being a mentally tormented Jason
Todd then reintroduce the maniacal joker with a great older and creepier
actor like Willem Dafoe. It would be so perfect and would bring about
possibly the red hood played by jared leto. or even casting someone like
jason gordon loveitt/jake gyllenhall a robin or night wing. I am seriously
afraid that this new joker is going to be a joke and end up in the same
trash bin as batman forever.
My ideal Batman always have been:
Batman - Brad Pitt
Joker - Tom Cruise
Riddler - Jake Gylennhall
Catwoman - Angelina Jolie
Red Hood/Jason Todd - Leonardo DiCaprio
Two-Face - Matthew McConaughey
Alfred - Anthony Hopkins
Mr Freeze - CGI with Sean Connery voice
Nightwing - Matt Damon
Bane - Sylvester Stallone
Peter Weller! The Dark Knight Returns
Conroy is the most famous and recognized, but Weller represents the true
Batman.
He is the Nelson of Batmans. Yes I know Nelson plays Ras al Ghul.
Never the less I laughed, when I heard Ben Affleck is going to play Batman,
but from his facial features and the acting if seen he is probably the
closest live action version we ever got.
Trick question! The best Batman has yet to be seen on the big screen. That
happens in March!!! (Yes, Conroy is the ONLY Batvoice, and the only
"batvoice' that should have ever existed *cough*cough* looking at you,
shitty, worst batman ever Christain Bale) "Ooooh, I was playing Batman?!! I
thought we were doing a live action version of Metalocalypse!" What a
douche nozzle.
Adam West and Kevin Conroy are #1 in each of their categories: West
portrayed the earlier Batman from the comics with a wonderful comedic
straightness while Conroy's voice perfectly embodied the later, darker
Batman comics.
Regarding the rest and in order of my preference:
#1 Christian Bale in Batman Begins.
#2 Christian Bale in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. (While the
character deepened, his Batman voice crossed over into caricature.
#3 Michael Keaton (This is a distant #3 for me as Keaton's small physique
made it almost impossible for me to take him serious as Batman. He played
both parts broodingly so there was little difference between his Batman and
Wayne. Still, he was way better than Kilmer and Clooney)
#4 Val Kilmer (Bland. At this point, movie fans were picking Keaton's
successor by how his exposed face looked in the cowl)
#5 George Clooney (It's almost heartless to jump ugly with an actor that's
apologized for his portrayal of the character but his constant head
bobbling and lack of effort to differentiate his Bruce Wayne from his
Batman doomed his portrayal)
All that being written, I love the look and sound of Ben Affleck's Batman
and Bruce Wayne from the movie trailers and if it holds well in the movie,
he may well be my #1 next year.
That was for the first trailer, Mike. The second trailer didn't feature the electronic voice. And even if you watch the second trailer and still feel the same, it's still a matter of preference.
+Mathias Holland In the new trailer for BvS, we hear Affleck's straight Batman voice and it's great. It's still no Kevin Conroy but it's got a nice gravel-like quality without going into Bale territory. If you haven't seen the new trailer, be careful; it may show a little too much, although it has another great shot of the armored Batsuit. Even if the movie doesn't live up to expectations, I'll be happy enough if they just nail Batman correctly like the animated series' do.
+Thom Florio Just his super, right-out-of-the-comic look put him at number one for me. Oh, that, and he does not do that lame shit Bale did with his voice. Rather, he uses a modulator in the amored suit, and something tells me that may because the purpose of the armor is THE BRAWL (like it may have it existed prior, but something tells me the armor is built specifically to take on Supes), but the modulator stems from Bruce's paranoia of Supes and wants, in no way, to give Supes a chance to discover who he is beneath the mask. Kind of makes sense, and offers a real, practical reason for an altered 'Batvoice.' Rather than some douche who did it so he could, 'take the role seriously..."

1 question
Im new to batman games
when I do sidemissions how come the target / goal never gets shown on the
map?
How do I exactly know where to go then?
main missions always show the next target on the map.
There have been so many good Batman things now that I am just bored of the
whole franchise. The Animated Series, The Movies, the first two games...
they're all good, but now it's just worn out for me.
I feel like the Arkham games are slightly overrated. Besides the awesome
combat and predator mode, the games were not that fun to play. Like in
Spiderman 2, you had fun and felt like a hero. In Batman, you feel like a
hero but for some reason, it wasn't that thrilling to play the game. The
games are also too similar to each other, not enough innovation between
games.
+Johnny Blueskin To be perfectly honest with you Arkham Asylum is the only Batman game that I actually like in the Arkham series city didn't live up to its hype I didn't enjoy it at all. Origins was garbage. i've seen walkthroughs of Arkham Knight and so far its a deceit game but they focused way too much on the Batmobile.
Yeah, Metal Gear looks amazing for sure. As far as Batman, I wish they would throw away the idea that the city has to be evacuated for some reason. It really makes the game feel empty and lifeless. They should add innocent civilians to the city and make it more like a living breathing world. I don't think that you played Spiderman 2 though, because it is one of the best comic book based video games ever. If you haven't played it, you should.
+Johnny Blueskin yea i kinda get what you mean, i liked the last 2 but i never fully got why people loved them so much, they felt a bit repetitive with great presentation and clever combat system but just didn't at all do anything profound for me despite everyone being all crazy about them. this kinda feels like more of the same to me, probably just a matter of taste but yea really bored by the series. spiderman i hated more tho tbh, it felt so hollow and like the worst end of the open world genre (i can't name specific games, i played 1 or 2 of them tho). Way more looking forward to mgsv :P
+Erik Velasco That is good news, regarding the length of the game! WOW, you have a very in-depth knowledge of Batman, much more than me. I mean, I'm a fan of Batman, but I don't know his stories as well as you. You win man, I'm going home.
+Johnny Blueskin I enjoy our discussion as well. I recently heard that this game will be longer than the previous installments of the franchise combined. I also think that it will be good for the game to feature more civilian NPCs in Gotham, the problem is it just doesn't get along with the specific story the studio wants to tell, but if somewhere in the future Rocksteady would agree to make a sort of "The Dark Knight Legends" or "The Batman Chronicles" as isolated stories in an open world then yes, more NPCs and common nocturn life would make it. The thing is that these installments were never meant to represent the classic 2 or 3 issue story arcs from the comics where Batman roams free chasing a single lunatic, but they were meant to represent the magna events that unleash chaos in Gotham, like Batman Eternal or No Man's Land. Nevertheless I think it would be a great addition, maybe in a DLC.
+Erik Velasco I actually never said that you had the option to kill npcs. I said that if you were driving around the city and happen to hit an innocent person by accident, then you would lose xp AS PUNISHMENT. I agree with you, I don't want these games becoming another GTA clone either, but you know what? Rockstar has created some of the best open world games ever made. Even the best games borrow from other games. The Last of Us has elements of Resident Evil 4, Half-Life 2, Alan Wake, Hitman Absolution, Fallout 3. The Last of Us is considered by many to be one of the greatest games ever made, and it borrows a lot from other games. In my opinion, the open world of the Batman games feel empty and adding crowds of innocent npcs will help bring life to the game. I appreciate your feedback, and I enjoy this little harmless discussion we are having between gamers.
+Johnny Blueskin About the city, yes, I share the same idea, but I don't want this saga to become GTA, there is also xp in this game, but it lacks rpg elements because that's part of being Batman, having a predetermined character to control. Also, that thing from having the option to kill npcs go against Batman's moral code.
+Erik Velasco I think Rocksteady should abandon the idea that the city can't have civilians because they had to be evacuated for some reason. The PS4/Xbox one can handle lots of characters on screen at one time (Assasin's Creed Unity). I think the game will be more interesting if it had civilians walking on the streets (like in GTA). They can use this to enhance gameplay. A thug could take a civilian hostage, and you have to save them. You could be chasing enemies through crowds of people. These scenarios can be part of the side missions. These games have RPG elements, so if you're driving around in the batmobile and happen to hit a civilian, then you would lose experience points. Also since it has RPG elemets, it would be nice if the campaign was as long as 25-30 hours.
+Johnny Blueskin From my point of view they innovated a lot from Arkham Asylum to Arkham City, but people always say that this saga needs more and more innovaiton than what they do, as a gamer I ask myself what other things can be innovated, but I always find myself thinking that those things are what Rocksteady is already working on. Could you share some other things that can be enhanced or innovated in your opinion?
