Comedian Jack Carroll Winning Semi Finals Performance BGT 2013
Comedian Tom Carroll Semi Finals Performance BGT 2013.
God, trust someone to take this the wrong way... Look dude, I have nothing
against the kid. I thought he was bloody hilarious. I was merely pointing
out that someone stated that if he was able-bodied, he wouldn't have been
as popular and I pointed out that, considering a lot of his jokes revolve
around his disability, it kind of goes without saying since his material
probably wouldn't have been as funny. I'm not saying there's anything wrong
with that, just pointing it out. I think he's great.
please dont take this the wrong way. I like this kid, I think he has a lot
of guts to stand up in front of the nation. However, in terms of his
comedy, i think at times he can be repetitive and very predictable. While I
watched his performances, the whole way through each one I hoped and hoped
he would make a joke about something other than his disability, but he
didnt. the joke about kim jong un was so predictable as well, so i didnt
vote because he dissapointed me slightly... just my opinion
His jokes sound like the ones you get in a Christmas cracker. Maybe they're
not bad but to call this "comedian" one of the most talented in Britain is
a joke itself. The competition this year has been dire. Luminites were
called "4 stars" NEWSFLASH" they're average. Led Zeppelin were 4 stars in a
band. Francine Lewis was cringey. Attraction aren't even from Britain. The
little girls who sang were OK but they were just copying other artists and
Gabz, although original, I wouldn't buy her album.
I really don't want to put myself in a bad light or be offensive to
disabled people but if he was able to walk and stand and wasn't disabled he
would not of reached the final ... I felt it was positive discrimination to
this act as they were scared to be critical of a boy in a wheelchair ..
Just haven't found him funny whatsoever through the entire show and I felt
he was too young for it ... But fair play it took alot of guts to do what
he did ... Except when he took the piss out of himself
He could have passed the audition thanks to sympathy or being likeable, not
to his talent. But then he passed semis and almost won because people found
him hilarious and intelligent. And then his disability wasn't the main
topic in semis or in the final. The scope of sketches was quite broad -
especially for a 14 yo kid. People love him and believe he has got a loads
of talent - and the fact that his personality is inspirational for many
people is a great bonus.
Easily one of the best acts this year and definetly deserved to be in the
finals. While I don't quite think he'll win it (that will most likely be
Attraction), I really hope he makes it into the top 3 because he absolutely
deserves it (just hope the top 3 doesn't consist of just singers since more
than half of the acts that made in into the finals are just singers)
Jack Carroll, Steve Hewlett and Francine should have been the three
finalists tonight on BGT, and Jack Carroll should have won ! And I agree if
the programme was 'Europe's got Talent' then fair play to Attraction, but
it is BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT! And I think Attraction really played the Union
Jack waving theme to the hilt to gain Patriotic Votes.
Scope is a charity that supports disabled people...so he's saying he was
collecting money for this charity that are helping disabled people and
instead of handing the money back in that he's collected he has pocketed it
himself as it would have been used to help the disabled...the charity
(scope) in this case is the middle man.
I see what you're saying, but I also disagree with you. A comedian works
with what he has and people have started with far less than what Jack
Carrol has and have become the biggest names in the industry. If he didn't
have cerebral palsy, he would have had something else.
its only the name of the fucking show, who gives a shit? I think you really
enjoy complaining about such a trivial matter because you're a xenophobic
cunt. You're also fucking blind because Britain is not just the home of
British people. Btw, Angela is a fat girls name.
He says, "I've recently started collecting money for Scope, but then I
figured...cut out the middle man." Scope is a charity organization that
helps disabled people (like Jack), so the joke is that he's just keeping
the money and "cutting out the middle man."
his not funny at tall his jokes are pure cringe and his delivery is awful
his a disabled child that's why he done so well you really think if he was
a full grown man and not physically disabled he would of got through? not a
chance
I'm an American (Montana) got to this video by chance, and I have to say
that I never really got British comedy. This kid Jack, I do get and even
though I've never met him I almost feel proud of him. Very good job Jack!
i really want him to win, people are saying the shadow artists will win but
they are not british it would be like saying "Britain hasnt got any talent
so here are some hungarian people" well thats what i think any way.
I think this kid is brilliant! Everybody finds different things funny, so
if this isn't what you like don't go round slating the kid its pretty
harsh. He's doing what he loves doing and alot of people find him great!
Very predictive jokes :) I don't like when comedians are making fun of them
self... That is just to easy... I like professionals who creates funny
scenes, Michael Mcintyre for example... blahblahblah whatever
