Chris would be great for top gear hes's passionate and can also be funny. J.C. was extremely passionate as well and also a bit loud and brilliant. Love "monkey" harris. Keep up the great reviews.

+andrew simpson Get off his nuts. Chris is good, just not an entertainer. He doesn't have the humor the trio produces. Have you seen a funny video of Chris yet? No. Carlos Lago from Motortrend has better humor than Chris.

If it was ever possible to replace a top gear presenter, yes, yes i know, thats practically impossible, but if it was to ever happen, Chris would be a prime candidate for the job.

+zodiac909 No. He's not funny enough. He's a good presenter but he's not an entertainer. People watch Top Gear for the entertainment values, that's why it's a far superior show compared to Fifth Gear.

Well Chris Evans has taken the reins, I also thought he would be a good candidate before all this debacle happened. And Jeremy Clarkson , Hammond, and May got signed to Amazon TV, so this could actually be a cool turn of events to see these two shows go at it!

+TheLaneyzf LOL but him being an american would make him better for Top Gear USA, in fact it might even boost their ratings. As for Top Gear UK, Chris would just need to find his dramatic side.JK from Jamiroquai would be good too, they love him on that show, he's hilarious, and he knows quite a lot about cars apparently.

Personally I would prefer Chris to keep doing what he is doing now because he's simply the best car reviewer out there. When it comes to Top Gear presenter candidates my choice is the Car Throttle guy

i feel as if Chris would not be as sporting about the cheap car challenges and all the mucking about jeremy richard and james do! i feel as if things would actually get serious like top gear was in the 90's!

Top Gear presenters are all about the drama. Entertaining yes but really putting on a show. When I watch Chris I see much more genuine feeling towards cars. It's much more about the car and less about the drama. Though those power slides might prove me wrong lol.
