@The1970sInfatuate - Because the '72 had such an option. You could option out a Vista Cruiser as a 4-4-2 station wagon, but without the emblems. You could get a 455 cid (7.5 liter) engine from 1970-72, and, according to the 1969 owner's manual for my car (the same year as Eric's), you could even get a four-on-the-floor, but I have yet to see one "in the wild." You could get a 400 cid (6.6 liter) engine in 1969 with a 10.5:1 compression ratio from the factory!

@bastardeyez - The Vista Cruiser was heavily modified for 1970. We at the GM Skywagon Club refer to the '70-'72 models as "Generation 2a", as most of the body parts won't interchange with the '68-'69 Generation 2 cars, although they looked similar. Only the tailgate was the same. The interior also had a completely-different instrument panel. Nearly all of the other interior parts interchanged.

BTW - the glass was also all the same, too. However, out of the exterior lighting, only the license plate light and the headlights were the same from '69 to '70. Even the bumpers were different to accommodate the different front turn signals and the backup lights that had moved to the rear bumper.

No airbags deployed at any time during this review. If the game was going for realistic, they should have included them. That would be kinda awesome.

It would look like foremans if it was a 69. the 69 actually has a totally different snout and the hood scoops are because its a 442 (I assume)

The fog-light and headlight arrangement is just awesome! Love the way they've incorporated the Driver Assist sensory sentinels in that larger badge in the grille
