OMG! I cant wait until mines comes in the mail. I was about to order the xios, but I say this one. I ordered it last week. I hope I will be able to set it up properly. Moonlightcsp, I know this might be asking much, but do you still have the zip file (addons) (ustvnow, icefilms, free cable, Navix..etc)? I can barely find any and what I did find, i dunno if it's ever the right stuff until i get the box in the mail. Can you please send me the zip files at attachment to my yahoo? [email protected]

make sure its formatted in the proper partition, and check to make sure your firmware is up to date, dec 5 is the best. For the best network support check out our videos and instructions on Barebone xbmc booting directly into XBMC, ultra slim ultra fast, you'll get a lot more performance. you can also use the android app paragon to recognize your drives

I mean the booting time, from the moment you press the power button up to the time the device is ready for use. Could You confirm me that 1080p video, with XBMC, will play smoothly?

that sounds like your firmware, use the Dec 5 rooted version and it will be gone, you're probably on Jan firmware

You have to download it from your pc to either a micro sd card,flash drive or external drive & it will be a zip file. Then you hook the drive that the file is on to the set top box & 1.)select system 2.) Select Settings 3.)Select Add-ons 4.)Select Install from zip file & now you try to find your drive that you have the file Navi-X on & click it & then it should install & the same for other add-ons. Some you have to install the source & then select Get Add-ons,All Add-ons,Video Add-ons & install.

It may sound strange, but sometimes changing your XBMC skin solves the buffering issue. Some skins take up more ram usage than others. Try using a light skin. Also, some channels (Links) will buffer much more than others. Try remembering the fast ones. Another tip, hook up to ethernet if possible. And keep in mind that the more computers that ya got online in your house, the slower it's gonna buffer. Last, but not least, disable unneeded services.

no, absolutely no monthly payment, you can still use it to view Netflix if you have a sub, but its not focused on Netflix because with the apps and addons included you get 100 times more movies , tv shows than netflix or any paid service. just icefilm alone has 77,000 movies available, 1channel and Navi-x has thousands of others. Netflix is definitely a waist of money when using this system.

I have good internet 30 mb download 5 mb upload so that isnt the problem. I went into ethernet configeration selected DHCP protical then selected save and still nothing. If i really have to enter my static ip manually thats to much work for a little box .I even reseted my modem and router still nothing.

you need to install the version we have on our facebook page, its the only version that works on the midnight, we patched ourselves for it. As for the 6 channels you would need a premium sub to get all the above, the 6 are free

is your internet line Open or do you need a password, usually you just plug and enable and its working, entering you static ip is just too long, it might be your box too, I would try updating the firmware and see if it helps

I received my G-Box key and when I went to install the data off of the key and there was nothing on it. it was empty! I also had a very hard time setting up my G-Box I am sending back the whole item! seems like it is not worth it. the directions in the box are very vague and going on line and using the online directions are not that easy either! I have heard a lot of positive things about the G-Box maybe I just got a bad one!

Try doing the update the toothpick method instead. And clear your system data/cache manually after the update to make sure there's no settings stuck in there. I had this error and it worked for me.

Have you tried contacting androidtvbox.us, that's the distributor, or ask in their support Forum. LOoks like the partiton system got messed up when the wrong firmware was flashed.

Will Mashup Closed down cause of it, i show how to install it, but i don't support helping on how to make things work, or if something happens to it i can't support, its good for that type questions to ask on official forums like tvaddons.agour tutorials never show any contents they have... we just bring in how to install.. that is the grey area, its not illegal since
