@Sworldpeas Do you mind backing this up? Ever since the last of the heavy debris washed ashore (Mid april) we only get the occasional barnacle ridden log, or the occasional bit of floating trash around here (I live in Japan and still help with food distro and clean up efforts). To date, I have yet to see this myself and have not found a single report that backs this up.

@kimhunter2 Yes, but none of them have been found to be related to the tsunami. Looking at the locations, they are not on the west coast, but in areas east of the Island making it doubtful they made their way from Japan. But Curt Ebbesmeyer chimed in with the Japan provenance idea.
