I predicted on my Facebook page that Dr. Obokata's life was at risk when
this first made the news. I did not know about Dr. Sasai at the time.
'Big Pharma'-- worldwide would lose hundreds of billions of dollars if the
Riken Center lab results were verified. Hundreds, possibly thousands of
developed therapies-- staggeringly huge income streams for large
corporations-- would be lost. So, I suggest theat the inability of
researchers to replicate these experiments was either orchestrated (through
blackmail)-- or purposely, they were not quite given enough of the relevant
information-- so to insure that Dr. Obokata's and Dr. Sasai's results would
not be verified.
Significantly, those relative few that hold sway economically on a global
basis are not interested in doing anything that would allow people to live
longer and more healthy lives-- especially if they are not having to become
an income stream for the privilege of doing so. The agenda of the global
elite-- as a matter of public record-- is that they do not want a large
world population. Dr. Obokata's and Dr. Sasai's ground-breaking scientific
results would drastically undermine that agenda for decades-- if not
centuries-- to come.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
FIRST, I suggest that it is highly unreasonable to simply assume that these
Japanese scientists would throw away the lifetimes they have used to build
their careers and reputations by being reckless.
SECOND, consider the Japanese tradition of honor: would two leading-edge
scientists, on still very much in the bloom of youth and with a lifetime
ahead, throw away their careers knowing that their honor would be so
thoroughly compromised in a nation where personal honor is still greatly
valued?
THIRD, at the press interview, Dr. Obokata was very clearly shaken and
surprised by the lack of any other lab to berify the results that she and
Dr. Sasai obtained. In fact, her phrasing was staggered-- and was very
realistic in terms of surprise and bewilderment. In short, she seemed
incredibly honest. Even her facial expression reflected complete honesty.
I do not deny that my take on this event is conspiratorial-- but note that
the world has not had a cure for any major disease since polio. Despite
the complexity of diseases being studied, if one factors in the billions
being polured into research for decades and the many scientists at labs
worldwide conducting medical research, this does not remotely allow for a
statistical result of absolutely zero cures for any major (in terms of
number of people affected), life-ending, medical conditions.
And turning to Japan.
That nation′s top science institute has halted all research related to a
controversial stem cell project.
This after its researchers were accused of falsifying results.
Paul, can you give some insight into this research and its importance?
Well, the so-called STAP research was supposed to usher in a new era of
medicine - one that could easily create stem cells in order to treat a wide
range of diseases.
On Friday, however, the investigation team at the RIKEN center said it
would shut down the research as it could not defend accusations that the
original results were fabricated.
"We were not able to re-create the STAP phenomenon. We were expected to
continue the verification process until March of next year, however in
light of these results, we have decided to terminate the experiments."
The main researcher Haruko Obokata was not present at the news conference
but announced in a statement that she would be stepping down.

mice and humans are biologically very close together, but economically, trying it and getting it to work on humans is maybe round about a billion dollars more expensive and takes several more years.so i would say its a done deal, if they now get massive funding and investment, and you give it a few more years.
I give this 2 hours before an Aussie comes and comments about the Dolphin
Slaughter, while ignoring / forgetting the fact shark are been slaughtered
in Australia for no other reason beyond 'they are in the water and they
might hurt a human in the water'....
The fact these sharks as crucial to our ecosystem does not seem to
matter... o.O
+JiggerYou know full well what I was on about.Saying something stupid then editing it out and acting like the other person is stupid, that is one classy act.You even managed to confuse me long enough to think I replied to the wrong person. So I hope you're happy with yourself.
+Ben Willock WTF are you on about? Nothing worse then people who dont read comments, then post ridiculous replies that have no reflection on the OP comment.
+pelletee r Perhaps I should have clarified more :). Not sure if you are Aussie, but a lot of Aussies watch the TYT... I am confident many of these viewers would have noticed the hypocrisy presented by many Aussies regarding the Japanese killing Dolphin's (in short - they are not happy).....Many though have no idea that our govt is actively killing Sharks for no reason beyond the fact people might be swimming in the same water as them. Both are wrong imo... That is with out question... The fact is though, I feel Australia is in the 'more wrong' position consider they simpluy wish to kill the shark and end it... At least the Japanese will get a lot of use (they eat dolphine).Again though I stress - Both are 100% Most the population in BOTH countries feel these actions are WRONG!.... We need both Govts to listen to the people!
or how about an Aussie that thinks both are wrong? On the other hand, this is a great breakthrough-looking forward to hearing more about this breakthrough, and what exactly is in the acidic solution.
