Can we add powder sugar is it same or cant we add one thread sugar syrup .

I tried ur gulab jamuns as well so yummm and Maa'shaa'Allah had visitors
around all.week. Only.made other food likr salan. And my dessert was
sorted. Everyone loved them.

Ingredients for sugar syrup! ¾ cup white sugar and ¼ cup water. Other ingredients! 3 drops of rose water max, 2 green cardamoms powdered, thinly sliced badam. This barfi can be kept 1-1 ½ week in fridge, it will be fresh or you can freez this as well. It is firm when its cold.

This recipe sounds delicious! It does seem to be a bit on the softer side
which is a nice contrast to some of the more rigid coconut barfis. There is
a variation of the coconut barfi which entails rolling the mixture into
small balls and pressing in a maraschino cherry, the tartness of the cherry
and the coconutty flavor of the barfi is divine!

aunty in our place full cream milk powder and heavy cream is not available
but sugarless khoya available, if am using khoya means what quantity have
to use aunty, thank U!

Great recipe; thank you, Ms Mallika Badrinath. I have only one suggestion;
I would not use any plastic utensils with hot food-stuff. Many plastics are
not designed for such use for health reasons. The plastic of the container
may not dissolve/deform/decompose at temperature of hot water but when it
happens to touch hot oil, or accidentally the metal cooling vessels, the
contact temperature would be lot higher. Here in this recipe, for the
pouring the hot barfi, I would suggest a greased stainless steel plate or
dinner Thali. Even a greased ceramic plate may be ok.
