the sculpting and texturing of this little cake is so impressive. I love
how you cut the little wedges to form the ridges, ingenious.
I was wondering if I could add strawberry shortcake to your list of
requests. I've been attempting one and keeping the cake and frosting fluffy
while constructing the cream on top has been a bit of a nightmare. I'd love
to see your ultra-skilled version!!
+vesselburning I made a victoria sponge a few weeks ago, which is similar - but I'm not sure if/when it'll be posted. I'd recommend prebaking the cake before adding the 'frosting' ^^
Do you texture or do anything to the bottoms of your miniatures? You don't
show the bottoms on camera, so I was just wondering what you do and what
you recommend to do. Love your vids! Thnx for making my days!
+Kait Kobo if I were to make a charm I'd texture and shade the bottom. But these are dollhouse miniatures and you won't see the bottom, so there's no need for texturing :)

If you add a tablespoon of crisco to you chocolate it will thin a bit and
make covering easier. You can do the same with candy melts.....I am sure
you could use royal icing to dip the cake pops too. Just an idea
+Michele Sharp Thanks Michele, I added a little vegetable oil but it sort of made me cringe, I didn't like the idea of eating that. I guess thats the way to get the chocolate smoother, I might try liquid fondant I think I'd like that more.
Marlyn, if you mix together equal parts flour, shortening and vegetable oil
it makes a wonderful pan release that you can brush onto your pans before
baking. And, it is much cheaper than the stuff you can (or can't) get in a
grocery store. I make a batch and store it in my refrigerator for when
needed. It also lasts a long time.
+Christine Bartholomew Yes I was thinking that kids would ready enjoy this since its not very precise you can get messy and they still look good.
All the Bright Places inspired Brownies | Bookish Treats ♡
I made brownies inspired by the book All the Bright Places by: Jennifer Niven. By all means, I am not a professional baker but I LOVE baking! My decor isn't ...
Brownies are my favorite! I used to work at Great American Cookies, but all
of our batter for cookies and brownies was pre-made. Did do a little
decorating while I was there though
+ReadingRejects Same here! I love how gooey they are .. That's awesome! I've wanted to get any type of experience in the baking industry just to see how it works (: You could probably decorate these brownies better than I can haha I was in such a rush to eat them xD
+Lesia's Tale But to really get the best brownie, I highly recommended Chocolate Ganache on top! Just 1/2 cup of Heavy Cream and 1/2 cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Melt it all together. Let it set till it's slightly solid but it's still pour-able. Then pour it on top of the brownies. Deeeeelish <3
haiii beautiful people! it's time! it's bakery time! this time it's with chef Jadern and chef Shu and i hope you enjoy it and maybe make one too! INGREDIENTS: you ...
Hi there. Any chance of getting that recipe on a file? If you have it
already handy. Would love to make that for my little girl's fourth
birthday. Thank you :)
