Wow, pretty snow....love it. We don't get snow in my area, Adelaide, South Australia. Right now we are in summer and it is hot. I can't wait for winter. :)

What rotten truckin luck. Could a been much worse, though. At least you could pull completely off the traveled portion on the roadway onto the shoulder. Where is all the air leaking out? Should be able to hear it hissing?

You can lay underneath the trailer where the 4 brake cans are, and manually release each one with a special bolt that should be in a little holder on each can. Pop the center plastic plug on the can, insert the special bolt, and use your crescent wrench to turn it several turns so as to release brake. Must do this on each brake can. Once released, all you will have is tractor brakes, if you can build enough air pressure, but you can get to help. It is a dirty, cold job, laying on that ice cold bridge. Not the nicest job to do.

I do love Chicago weather! I like having snow on the ground then having 60s degree the next day with some thunderstorms, hail, graupel and fog thrown in then dropping back into the high 20s the next day with a winter storm and gale warning. Love it!

Those are runaway train cars in the train yard behind my house. They basically get pushed over a hill, and then slowed down by the tracks [which causes that screeching noise] till they slam into another car and get linked together.
