2002 honda civic no reverse Videos

I saw doesnt work properly, but what its wrong. Put backwards a gear or put a shim there, tanks for ansewr, am planning to do mine but i dont want install wrong.tanks

Question if its installed incorrectly and you put the car in reverse would the car actually move back or no? And how would u know if someone else installed it correctly? thank.

Chris, great vid. Just word about the switch: since the switch is just a ball which is depressed by linkage interior to the tranny and connects across the two electrical pins to complete the circuit, it has a tendency to get gunked up with fluid and then contact is lost. Try 1st using carb cleaner and depress the ball and spray into the switch past the ball several times until you get only clean fluid coming out. Then with an ohmmeter across the two terminal of the switch depress the ball and see if you can get a 0 or nearly 0 ohm reading with depressing only 80% of the way. If you have to press the ball all the way in then you need to replace the switch. To ensure that the wiring is NOT an issue (or the bulbs), put a paperclip across the contacts on the wiring harness plug, then turn key to accessory position and put in reverse to make sure that the lights will come on. BTW, if you get lucky and it's gunk in the switch then $5 to fix (carb cleaner) vs. $50 (2014 prices in CA) for the switch. You choose.

I have 2002 Lancer evo GTA with about 100k on the clock, a few months ago I heard a loud crunching from the trans heading down my driveway. Upon inspection I was told it was direct planetary assembly, unable to get the right part I found out the F5A5A from the US eclipse 3.8 v6 and Galant is basically a FWD version and most internals can fit. Fast forward to the present I have the F5A5A trans with the bell housing from the evo and evo torque converter fitted. My issue is that when the car is shifting from 2nd to 3rd there is about a 1.5 - 2 sec delay, its like you're driving and the car applies the brakes then shifts or there is engine braking like when going down a hill. 1st to 2nd, 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th are all fine along with the backing down from all gears. Whether I drive in auto or manual mode it always does the same thing when shifting. We've tried the valve body of the eclipse on the trans and the evo's valve body, we've also swapped sensors. The fluid is fresh and is full, the only other option is the torque converter but since the eclipse's own is bigger we haven't gone that route. I'm really hoping its not the torque converter because after searching for months I have gotten no leads on finding one.

Hi Peter, I have automatic Toyota 1998 corolla euro1 model, problem no reverse light together with gauge light only for P R N D 2 L, I've checked the bulbs and they're still okay, but no volt coming, please help :(

My car does everything but move. I was driving to work and the shit slowed down and stopped. I was able to have someone push me off the street in nuetral but that was the only movement i could get out of the car. Its a 2004 ford taurus. What are all of the possible problems/solution?

I have a 06 Ford Taurus sel 3.0 v6 it won't do anything when I put it in drive reverse or low gear all it dos is ram up it was working fine going to class I stoped and was going to reverse cause I forgot something and it wouldn't move so it stuck it in drive and still nothing just wondering if it may be my torque converter or transmission?

hey im going to buy a nissan sentra but the guy says the car starts but wont move when u give it gas. He says i might need to change the fuel pump or regulator. is what he said true

sory for the delayed reply.. but for easy turning, either its grip or drifting, its much better to get the car on the opposite side of the line for a much easier exit.. and apply it on each corner as soon as possible so that you can have much better time..
