This is a pretty neat machine, with technology these days bringing in New ideas, no telling what they will come up with. But it does take out the fun of cotton strippin, the way that it has been done for years and has developed since then from hand pickin cotton. Being able to have a cotton stripper that picks and is feed to the basket. Being able to run a bull buggey to carry the cotton to the module builder. It takes all the fun out of that and building a module that you can be proud of to pack. Lol. Yeah this machine only picks the cotton off the stalks but sure freakin leaves a big mess like it missed the cotton. It's a VERY expensive machine though. These days it's not always about technology for some folks it's about taking pride in what you do and how your family has taught you and you teach the ones after you.....hey that's only my opinion on how our family farms cotton here in TEXAS....we love every minute of it!
