Could you please pist a video on how to use a Aquamate for a D4C with
faucet hookup. I don't have the instructions for this and I want to use my
Aquamate.
I absolutely LOVE my Kirby vacuum! I don't shampoo often but when I do I
have never had a problem. With all the cool attachments it's so handy but I
gotta say my favorite thing about it is its endless uses. not only does it
vacuum and shampoo my carpets but I use it to inflate my son's pool, clean
my electronics, and the other day I turned it into a Hand held blower and
used it to blow a few leaves off my porch lol it was just for fun and I was
experimenting new ways to use it :) it's a fun vacuum
Hi Bret C, we're sorry to hear you do not like the carpet shampoo system.
When used properly, it uses only a very small amount of water to make the
foam that is worked into the carpet. This foam encapsulates the dirt and
debris and is vacuumed away when the carpet is dry. If you need assistance
with the shampoo system, please contact our customer service department at
1-800-437-7170.
Tip after Kirbys cleaning process. Don't think it over wets at all. If you
want to speed things up get a home fan or box fan to speed up drying time.
In warm weather open a couple windows to get airflow in the house. It
really dries faster than you think otherwise. Good luck. Remember to dry
vac when 100% dry!
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I had forgotten how to do it and
then was winging it. I didn't hook the belt on properly and the attachment
kept coming off. I then realized that the tutorial could be on YouTube and
it is. =)

I watched a few how-to videos, and this was the most helpful. Thanks. Side
note: When pet carpet cleaners claim to discourage "re-soiling," I wonder
is this just some marketing bull, or has this claim been tested
scientifically? Because if so then my cats don't seem to have read the
studies.
+Paul Jenkins Depending upon the solution you use many can. Products such as Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer have bacteria destroying enzymes that target the bacteria from the urine. Many times after cleaning this bacteria is left behind and dogs and cats can still smell it and will often continue peeing in that same spot. Removing the bacteria "discourages" re-soiling by ridding this scent encouragement. Hope this answered your questions, I've worked in various pet shops and shelters in case you're wondering how I know.
