@LaurenBlankenship77 1) I never the US was ever a theocracy. My point is
the Separation of Church & State prevents that. 2) Yes, Christianity under
the guides of a SECULAR NATION has done charity. Although, I will correct
you, it isn't EVERY social improvement etc. they can take credit for. And
there have been problems with Christian organizations in recent years such
as Focus on the Family & Faith Iniitiatves. You know, Hamas & Hezbollah
also give to charity.
@LaurenBlankenship77 one more thing...during women's suffrage, it was said
that the Bible was one of the greatest stumbling block for women
equality--and here is a quote from Susan B Anthony "I never trust someone
who thinks they know what God wants them to do to their fellows." For every
person who uses the banner of Chrisianity to promote freedom, there are
probably two or three who uses it for hate and oppression. Good day.
BTW, you completely misreprented the ACLU. They are hardly "always looking
for some way to remove religion from every vestige of American life." On
the contrary, the ACLU fights every day to protect the religious rights of
individual believers. It's when people of faith try to use the power of
SECULAR institutions, such as the government, to promote their views that
it becomes a constitutional issue.
I go by history sir. THEOCRACY WHETHER IT BE CHRISTIAN OR MUSLIM IS A SCARY
NOTION>>> YOU ALL HAVE A BAD RECORD>....THE CRUSADES!!!! THE
INQUISTION!!!!! INEQUALITY!!!!!! OPPRESSION!!!! NO THANKS!!!!! RELIGION IS
AN EVIL ENTERPRISE!!!!!
Seems to me that if you give tax-exempt status to organizations which push
a specific religious viewpoint, you in fact ARE "respecting an
establishment of religion." Kudos to the ACLU and Americans United for
their efforts.
the lawsuit against Liberty is more likely a fundraising gimmick for
Americans United. Never mind Jerry Falwell is dead. I guess Barry Lynn
thinks he has a fighting chance when he's fighting against dead people.
"Liberty University." Both concepts abused. And, by the way, why would you
then want to "argue with a liberal and win" if you so value liberty?
Idiots, all of you.
Roy Costner IV Rips up Speech, Recites Lord's Prayer at Liberty High School
Megyn Kelly Reports - 6/6/13 - (Washingtontimes) A South Carolina valedictorian garnered wild applause after he ripped up his pre-approved speech and ...
Atheism- The opiate of the masses.
.
It lulls its adherents into a false sense of relaxation in the "knowledge"
that there is no Creator, there is no judgement for their actions. The New
Atheists are the New drug dealers, selling their wares to an unsuspecting
youth.
Atheists don't say there is no Creator. They just say there is insufficient evidence that the deities that religions worship are the Creator. Just to be clear, a deity is something like Yahweh, Allah, Zeus, Ra, you get the picture.Do you think its possible that when our universe began to expand, it was just part of an encompassing universe and the expansion is just as part of the natural world as is a black hole or supernova?
I wonder if Christians who support this kind of action would still be
supportive if the student was Muslim, Hindu, Wiccan/Pagan, etc., and opened
the ceremony with a prayer to Allah, Krishna, or The Triple Goddess. Many
Christians argue that this sort of behaviour should and must be encouraged,
but their opinions completely change when the same logic and reasoning is
applied to any other belief system apart from their own.
+MrIntelligentdesign A computer program can be scientifically explained, you know, since you called me unscientific, but what you did in your last comment is called a red herring logical fallacy. Please come back when you're capable of completing a rational rebuttal, as well as when you're capable of scientifically answering my questions, instead of invoking illogical fallacies.
+Caesar Santizo ROFL!! Now, let me give you an analogy. To a little boy, how could a genius programmer program a computer? Is that a miracle? Now, if you don't get that analogy, then, your unbelief in God has no basis at all.
+MrIntelligentdesign Hahahaha, I'm unscientific? Please elucidate for me how a snake and a donkey are supposed to be anatomically capable of speaking in the exact same manner a human being would be able to, how a fruit is supposed to alter the basic biology of a man, not to mention go against the universal law of decay, in order to allow him to live forever, how a a sword can defy gravity and levitate, while burning nonetheless, in mid air, how a witch's magic can defy the laws of physics, how it's chemically possible for a pile of dust to transform into flesh, blood, and bone, how it's genetically possible for a spiritual being, if you can prove such a thing even exists, can procreate with a physical body to create a hybrid, how plants can biologically grow without the sun to provide the energy necessary to photosynthesize, and how dragons are even physically plausible considering the many anatomical, physical, and chemical limitations they would have.
+MrIntelligentdesign Fuck your books; I've studied the bible, the utmost authority on the Christian religion, and it's full of fairy tale characteristics like the ones I've mentioned.
+MrIntelligentdesign Hahahahahaha, Christianity is just another man made fantasy! A magic man in the sky, dust men, flying swords, talking snakes, talking donkeys, hybrids, dragons, witches, magic monsters, a tree of immortality, plants that grow without the sun... Seriously?!Why is it different just because it's YOUR religion. No, you're just as delusional as the rest of them.
+Matthew Blackburn "That's because Christianity is not a religion and Muslim,, Hindu, Wiccan/Pagan, etc. are religions."That is one of the dumbest comments I've ever read.Religion: a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.Christianity is a religion.
I dont agree that the republic is gone. As we should have done 30 years
ago, we can repent of our transgressions and laziness and ask God to
intervene to break the stronghold of evil in this country. We can confess
to the Lord that we did not do all we could to immediately address abortion
and the de-moralizing of our school children. Nothing is too hard for God.
If everyone who hears what the National Liberty Alliance is doing will get
up off their butts and get involved WITH them we can make a change. After
all, the communists have worked diligently and patiently since they brought
the Nazis over here after WW2 to destabilize our country. If we had kept
the vision and worked as hard we would not be where we are now.
you are wasting your breath..as is national alliance for liberty..it is
OVER done with...the republic is GONE...voting is completely under controll
thousands of new world citizens graduate our high schools everyday...where
were all of you thirty years ago when dr. paul started warning us all what
was going down???? what we had cannot be restored except by one
method...when a govt becomes destructive of these rights it is the duty of
the people to abolish it...that is a quote...and saying it publicly wil get
you arrested..its the declaration of independance
The FBI does not work for the people, they work to protect the crimes
committed by the Federal Gov't. I have tried this process this woman is
trying and it is set up to avoid human contact and allow plausable
deniability. Imagine going to a police precinct or sheriff dept and bullet
proof glass and two robots wearing a uniform is blocking access. This is
the FBI, they only solve crimes and help regular american in the movies and
Tv shows.
It seems odd that this office and this man does not ask for this women's
name at any point in this conversation, she says enough to him it would be
more then odd for him not to ask, are we sure she is speaking to this
agency or one of the other NLA leaders ?
