+Emberwish33 you can also make your lineart normal opacity and then when you want to recolor it later, you can check the box next to "Preserve Opacity" (this is located above all your layers in the standard SAI layout) and then you can just paint over it on that same layer and it will only recolor the lines

yes, what KHVanity said, i use the marker tool for my lineart so it's not 100% opaque. and also, i have my lineart layer set to 'multiply' so it's always darker than the colours underneath!

I'm two weeks late, but I believe that the lineart just had low opacity so they just had to colour the layer underneath and it transferred through

Thanks and no i just shaded it off. Im thinking of doing rwby next let me know if u wanna see that, btw itll be a while before i get it up and i only rly use youtube as a way to show my friends my art, although devant art is better. Thanks again.

Thank you so much cx this is when fetus me thought "hey, maybe I should start YouTube" and posted these RWBY videos (I actually had another account where I played some of Mad Father but like this one & the other one, I forgot the password) XD I've improved very much since then .
