This is my 97 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 12v. I replaced the spark plugs about 4-5 months ago and everything was fine. My car started acting weird about 2 weeks ago.

Audi A6 Engine & Transmission Removal | +whole front assembly | time lapse
This is a time lapse of me removing a 3.0l Audi A6 engine, transmission, k frame, and suspension assembly. I was not able to remove the Audi A6 3.0 engine in ...
Newer Audis have electro-hydraulic mounts, that "adjust stiffness according to engine load to minimise movement to maximise torque transfer"....it basically uses a solenoid to adjust the flow of hydraulic fluid between two fluid chambers. I think that's what you might have.
+a DIY Car Guy its an 2005 one and yes i believe its the electronic ones as my OBD scanner was able to detect it... i didnt know that they are electronically stiffened thought the cable was just a sensor to detect if it has gone bad... well i already ordered one so i might ask my mechanic to check the other one too
+Gian Santiago you're welcome....it looks like they are the same from what I just googled also. What year is your car, do you have the electronic stiffening ones?
+a DIY Car Guy thanks for the quick response ive been trying to google them but i couldn't get any definitive results it seems like theyre both the same...
+Gian Santiago I don't know about the diesel engine mounts, but the ones on this 3.0 V6 were the same on both sides....the engine basically sits on top of them.
some great music! that's pretty cool on how the whole assembly can come out
the bottom . Im surprised you didn't smash your knuckles on anything lol I
know I did with my Windsor lol .
thanks haha...i was out of town for a few days...it was easier than usual because I didn't have to detach the trans first...and i wasn't trying to preserve any hoses or anything...but it did take like 7 hours
+a DIY Car Guy no problem! I bet it was not easy lol , too bad it was mashed otherwise it probably would have been easier lolbut i think you did awesome . adapt and overcome i always say lol
+jimbo booth thanks man! My hands are cut and banged up a little, but not as much as usual lol. Typically the whole front bumper assembly comes off and these engines can be slid out the front with the suspension assembly left on. My bumper was smashed over so I couldn't get it off so I had to do it this way lol.
How to replace air-con/heater air blower motor in Audi A6 (C6 4F)
This video shows how easy it is to replace air blower motor on Audi A6, C6 chassis. To get more info about this car, please visit www.WheelsAndMotors.com and ...
Hi thanks for the videos they are real good.I have never ever seen anybody
strip down a cars good working parts and then reassemble with the same
parts before?. This is a great video.
I am also having heating problems, the heater doesn't come out from the
dashboard vents , d car seat heater works fine , windshield defroster works
but not d main vents , can it be the motor or what ?
+David Babs Could be a unit that's responsible for deflecting air flow in different areas. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with that yet. I would recommend to find specialist with VAG-COM (VCDS) to scan it and find where the problem is.
I am planning to buy a6 c6 2.0 tdi 2005-2008,can you tell me if you had any
major problems with the car? I saw on internet a lot of problems with some
type of chain and oil pressure because of that, have you had similar
problems?
Yes in 2005 they had a bad design for oil pump (chain driven ) then I think in 2006 they changed to gear driven to solve the problem. As for anything else - see my other videos I tried to cover the problems I had.
Hi Great Video,
I have a problem with that no air is blowing at all into the Cupé and it
started with that AC was not cooling and then suddenly no air flow came at
all, could the Airblower motor be the issue for theese two problems you
think?
+Steve Bergholtz If AC is not cooling and you can't turn ECON off, more likely it just needs re-gasing, if ECON goes off - could be compressor problem. Regarding not blowing at all - either blower motor died, or before check the fuse (have a look in drivers manual), I don't have that anymore, so I couldn't point you...
Thanks for your informative videos. Good help. Good teaching. Do you happen
to know where to find decent repair manuals for 2008 A6 2.0 diesel avant?
Thanks for your help.
Great tutorials. I have a 99 A6 with 209000 miles, It runs great with no
issues other than leaking cam / valve cover gaskets. The previous owner had
timing belts changed twice. I have started disassembly but haven't removed
old timing belt yet because the timing mark on the balancer is several mm
past arrow while the cam locking tool is in correct position. The current
timing belt mates well and all the teeth are intact. Could a previous
mechanic have reset the camshafts off a degree or could the cam chains or
chain tensioner be causing the difference in the timing mark. I have also
noticed some slight belt slack around water pump pulley. Do you have any
ideas on why my current timing mark is off. Could this be typical for a
high mileage engine?
+RatchetsAnd Wrenches I have an enhanced blau kit. I have also decided to replace the alternator while everything is off. Thanks again , your videos are a great compliment to the service manual.
+dan t I dont think the timing is off otherwise you would get a cel (usually for cam sensors), more likely scenario is the timing belt has stretched over time. Especially since you have more slack by the water pump. Make sure to replace the tensioner if it hasnt been replaced.

great videos. Thanks to you I fixed the annoying burning smell issue with
the half moon seal. But lately, the car is running rough, especially when
accelerating after a stop. idle speed is low. I suspect the carburetor is
playing up. Can you PLEASE do a video on replacing the carburetor on a VW
PASSAT 2003 V6. Thanks for the great videos :)
Hey ratchets and wrenches can u help me out please my 2.8l passat went out
and i gotta get my timebelt fixed how long should it take a shop to do it
and whats the average cost i should expect amy and all help is apprec
thanks
+patrick francis If your timing belt broke you have bent valves and need to rebuild the heads or get a different engine. Since you are not doing the work yourself I would recommend a used engine or just cut your losses and move on. Sorry for the bad news, GL
+Lucid Reality You can mark the location of the cams in relation the timing belt covers but if you havent done much timing belt jobs I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get the tool. You can rent it online from blauparts with a timing belt kit I believe. GL
