I do not like 1 Series at all, but the new one is ever uglier ! It is very nice inside and has very good engines as you would expect from a BMW. Also is very solid, but the exterior looks are just so bad ohh :(

when i saw this car i said: "ohh my god, what the fucking fucking fuck is this... thing?? where is the bmw?" but now when i see it... its kinda attractive;) think, black paint, 120d,rwd.. :D

still not sure about the looks, but I like it that bmw is one of the seemingly shrinking number of car companies that let you completely turn off the traction control if you want.

Ik ben er nog niet helemaal over uit. Ik vind ''nu'' nog steeds de vorige generatie mooier. Benieuwd hoe hij er met een M-pakketje uitziet. Wat een muziek ook op het begin -_-

I think this is the first review by this presenter I've ever liked. Good job on that. Anyway, I have to disagree with you in regards to the looks of the car. It's still ugly.

It's kinda hard to read the subtitles without the gray box that used to be around it, there's lots of white parts on the screen and can't see the outline of the letters

for once I have to agree, these newer 1 series are a very good bargain if you rent it... I wouldn't want to buy it though, but I would like to rent it periodically...

looks like the twin power turbo does very well with the diesel....those donuts looked very effortless while as the old 120d struggles to do a donut

@drcashier Mercedes doesn't even have a hatchback in their range. And I would like to see someone do a donut like at 2:29 in an audi A3 quattro.

It may be Ugly, but which other diesel hatchback allows you to do doughnuts? U can't even turn off the esp off completely on the new focus.
