MEDICAL CONDITION? How is that not a bad thing? You'r kid can't go outside
unless she wants skin cancer. She can't make eye contact. Of course it's a

Megan! What joy...my third child was born with very severe strabismus;
therefore diagnosed "blind" & she turned away to "listen" to my voice....I
felt rejected; I nursed ad loved her for 12 months thru two critical
surgeries and arm braces to keep her from scratching away the
bandages...and near her 1st birthday, when the bandages came off, and she
squinted from the light and then SAW the face behind the LOVE ........she
just burst into a smile that re-ignited my heart...She seemed to say, "So,
are you my Mommy?" God bless you, Louise, and your outreach to others.

+Patricia Reck That's adorable. I had strabismus, so I know what she went through. The after effects can suck sometimes but she got through it. My mom used to tell me the bandages over my eyes were pirate eye patches but I still remember hating them. So glad your lovely daughter is doing well.
