A trailer for Singularity University's Women @ The Frontier panel, hosted at NASA Ames, part of Singularity University's movement to promote women in science, ...
Nice initiative. Also video looks great. Unlike in traditional corporate
media, ladies seem genuinely determined and independent but not robotic,
over confident or agressive. World is becoming a better place in small
steps :)
As women we have enough critical mass to propel 21st Century innovaton. We
need to join forces and seize the power of our collective ingenuity to
transform the quality of life for billions of people.
Where is the full length version of the panel and these talks?
Second Life's Philip Rosedale in Mixed-Reality at NASA
Second Life Founder, Philip Rosedale, gives a presentation in full Mixed-Reality to Singularity University at NASA Ames. Philip talks quantum tunneling and ...
In the Lecture Peter compares quantum mechanical tunneling in RL, and
particles leaking out of a box in Second Life. At 3:26 in the video It is
great to see the image of the Critical mass exhibit in Sploland and
Exploratorium sims in Second Life. The decay of Uranium nuclei depends on
tunneling. The exhibit was built by Amulius Lioncourt with my collaboration.
