When I delete the printer, I cannot reinstall it as there is only "Adobe PDF 8.0" showing under printer names. The printer "Canon MP780" only appears when I plug the USB from the Mac to the printer. Any advise appreciated.

@icehockeyrink Sorry it took a while but, is there any dvd or cd that came with your printer? How old is it, and can you recognize it on your mac, or iPad, or pc?
