thanks for the video...i reversed out of a parking spot and knocked the 2 bottom clips lol i currently have tie wraps to hold in the bumper and lip lol

What if the car has the fog lights? Do they just get disconnected?

Yes, all you have to do is connect the plug and the fog lights can stay in the bumper cover.

Didn't know this much work went into something so simple as replacing a front grille. Looks like I'll be having a little bit of fun, right along with frustation. Any more mods? Load them up! I've already learned from your vids, so I'd like to learn some more... Later!

Now I know why I couldn't pull the grille off the other day. Good catch, I was close to ripping the whole grille off. It honestly looks like the grill is clipped in at the bottom. Hopefully I can dip the grille without getting the stuff on the lights/radiator.

you should rename this how to remove the bumper... u didn't actually remove the grille!!! after u remove the 4 screws inside, the grille doesn't just come off, there is something else holding it in place... or maybe its just diff on an STi

people with really skinny hands/wrists have actually managed to remove the front grill by squeezing a hand in there. good video though, it helps a lot!

does this apply to a 2005 legacy aswell? in the service manual it says remove the 4 grille clips. ok how!? just has an arrow pointing to them

Im trying to avoid taking the bumper off. Is it possible to take off the grill only? im trying to install a hella supertones.

you don't need to pull the bumper off. Just get a short phillips and reeach from the lower grill.
