If they truly want to encourage the brick & mortar stores then they need to
give them better pricing. Online retailers tend to have much less overhead
and so it's easier for them to lower their prices and just sell more to
make up the difference. When I have to pay 15-20% more in store it's not
very encouraging.
+Mike Percival That's true. And since they are locking those brick and mortar stores out of online sales, Asmodee is reducing their competition online. For folks who don't have a brick and mortar store to purchase from or are discouraged by the markup, this could be a harsh blow to the hobby shops. I'm interested to hear from folks who support this move.

BTW, Janus is actually pronounced "Jane-Us". Janus is a Roman deity that
is usually depicted as having two faces (one facing towards the past and
the other to the future). The month of January is named after Janus.
+TRez5000 Okay, sure. No one who ever actually saw Janus as a god said Jane-us. My girlfriend, who has degrees in History and Languages, says it's not Jane-us.But you're right! Let's not say it the way where it sounds cooler. Let's sound as lamely American as possible.
I'm aware of this. But when it is written in it's anglicized form (Janus), it is pronounced Jane-Us. In Latin it is written as Ianus. In that case it is pronounced Yan-Us. I'm just confused as to why anyone would insist upon using Latin pronunciation when it is written in it's anglicized form.
Romans spoke latin and there is no J sound in latin (technically there is no J letter either). When a J is designated, however, the sound is like that of a "y". January started as Ianuarius
I just started playing last week and your videos are really helpful. So
far I have the base set, What lies ahead, and Cyber Exodus.
I'd really like to see a strategy segment on Cyber Exodus.
Great to see another one of these up! Why's the card pronounced " yarn - us
" though? I call it "jan-us" like january but some of my group call it "
Jane - us " and a lot of American videos treat the J as a Y. So confused!
+Alex Britton Yeah, we do have some catching up to do. Not trying to make excuses, but life's been busy. Computer died, car brakes needed replacing, complications with my video editing software on my new computer, got engaged, wedding planning, etc... finally back to editing videos. But I'm only one guy. Only have so much time. Thanks for your support and thanks for watching!
