Bonjour à tous, voici notre ressenti 5 mois après Order and Chaos. rejoignez la communauté Française d'Android: Netrunner sur le site et forum Run4games ...

carrément que si en faite
Netrunner LCG - Order & Chaos Fight Night - Game 1
Our own Tim Bunn and Steven Wooley face off in a series of six games, with each player using an Order & Chaos identity! This time, it's Tim's Gagarin v. Steven's ...
Guys I always loved the Netrunner unboxings. Really got me excited about
new packs and just listening to you guys talk really helped my game a lot.
Love the fight night series as well, I hope you can do something like this
for at least the big box expansions!
This is an exceptional format. Team Covenant once again pushing the
Netrunner envelope beyond the reach of all others! The pre-during-post
discussion is simply so rich - thank you guys, this is gold :)
Enjoyed this one guys. Looking forward to the next ones. Would you consider
more deck building/playing exercises for Netrunner? Older (forgotten?) IDs
perhaps?
+Team Covenant Honestly just the discussion this sort of thing brings out is great. Gets you thinking about different card combos, new things to try in your decks etc. Gold.
+James Deeman We're definitely getting into these kinds of videos, so certainly a possibility!
Netrunner LCG - Order & Chaos Fight Night - Game 3
Down 0-2, Steven attempts to claw his way back into the series with Maxx, but Tim's Argus Security is prepared for the infiltration! Decklists below. → TIM'S ...
What happened to this channel? There used to be lots of reviews and
previews of upcoming and newly released products. But in 2015 the amount
videos being released by you have dropped significantly in quantity.
There's only so many hours in the day. Between tournament coverage, special events like this fight night, and their own local endeavors (and other games!) set reviews are the first to go. The community has plenty of other set reviewers that do a good job.EDIT: Team Covenant does a Twitch.tv stream each week for Netrunner, Doomtown, and Warhammer, and one more I can't remember. They are still putting out content, it's just different.
+NoNamium Indeed. We were spending all of our time on the previews and reviews are were not able to push new concepts forward. It'll take a bit to get things where we want them, but it will mean much better content for everyone.
While the two keyhole runs may seem extremely lucky, the odds were not as
bad for the runner as Tim believed. With 5 cards in hand (none of which
were agendas), 2 ice installed and 3 cards in the archives, the odds of
hitting the first agenda on the first R&D access was 6/35, than for the 2nd
card 6/34, and than 6/33 for the 3rd, averaging a 17.6% chance of success
individually. But collectively, when seeing 3 cards, with those odds, the
binomial distribution shows that there is a 35.8% chance of hitting an
agenda. Hitting the 6 pointer was quite lucky however!
The importance of multi-card R&D accesses is often under-appreciated.
+QuantaKill No, you are incorrect. The odds that a series of non-dependent events will all occur is found by multiplying each of their probabilities.//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probability#Independent_events In this case, the probabilities change in the manner I stated because we are only interested in the odds of grabbing 1 agenda in the three pulls. So the odds of getting an agenda as the first is 6/35 and, assuming we didn't hit an agenda in the first, the second would be 6/34 and the third 6/33. But we aren't interested in odds to pull an agenda each time, we want odds to pull a single agenda. So where to from here?Another part of probability is that all possible outcomes sum to 100%. So if we take the probability of not pulling an agenda in all three pulls, and subtract them from 1, that will give us the probability that at least 1 of them is an agenda, thus my equation:P(at least one agenda) = 1 - (probability of not getting an agenda) = 1 - ((29/35) * (28/34) * (27/33))29 non-agendas in 35 total cards in the first pull, remove one non-agenda card for the second and then the third.Taking the average, as you suggest, will show us the odds for pulling an agenda in any single on of those cards, not the probability of pulling at least one in the three that we see.
+Wreqt You're perfectly right on keyhole. My main point was that often people will under-appreciate the odds on multi-card accesses (both the corp not defending R&D enough and the runner not running R&D enough). QuantaKill just demonstrated that. By the way, QuantaKill, to get the probability of a series of events of occurring, you do the product of the probabilities of each event, just like Wregt did. And there's no need to be snarky, especially if you can't recognize a product from a sum.
+DrsebrpKeyhole is amazing. Not only does it hit agendas with a huge frequency, it nails key pieces of decks, and makes EVERY access a hit to the corp's strategy. The addition of Eater finally gave this monster what it needed.
+Wreqt You are right, but in practice averaging the success % over the 3 trials for the binomial gives a close enough solution, the only difference being that I gave the odds of getting 1 agenda, not at least 1. But you're right, it should be included, even if keyhole can only trash a single card per run.1 - dbinom(0,3,(6/34)) = 0.441 or 44.1%. The conclusion being that keyhole is really good.
The odds of hitting an agenda in the three access is higher than you stated. It is a simple probability of 1 - (chance you get no agenda in 3 accesses) which is calculated:1 - (29/35 * 28/34 * 27/33) = 1 - .558 = 44.2%Binomial distribution requires a constant probability, meaning you would replace the card before drawing again.
Netrunner LCG - Order & Chaos Fight Night - Game 6
It's 3-2 in Steven's favor! Can his Titan Transnational defeat Tim's Valencia deck to clench the series? It's one of the craziest games yet! Decklists below. → TIM'S ...
That was INTENSE! I was going to watch "Mission Impossible" today, but I
have just watched one :-) ! I'm looking forward to more videos of yours.
Keep up the good work for the Netrunner community! Thanks Steven! Thanks
Tim! Thanks Team Covenant!
I think you've got to ask the runner to show you the blackmail. IAA
something and cross your fingers. Otherwise you're digging for literally
the 1 Atlas left in your deck. This is possibly the worst I've seen Steven
play Netrunner. He's clearly not at all comfortable with this Titan deck (I
should probably add some jibe about leaning on the Astrotrain here :-P ).
The point about Tim finding a way is an important one though. A good lesson
for new players to learn.
Man, I'm really enjoying this series, from the humility, humor, and
thoughts behind your decision making to the overall concept of the "fight
nights". I think you have both found your calling, and work really well
together.
So does this Valencia deck just get wrecked by Jinteki? I would be
terrified of a big draw and getting several snares or something. The
secondary plan doesn't seem strong enough to use as your primary if you are
up against that faction.
Should it have not been 13 cards. Each medium is 1+5 from hivemind so 6
each then the base 1. 6+6+1=13. Or am I missing something? I want to be
better at Anarch and I liked this deck.
Netrunner LCG - Order & Chaos Fight Night - Game 5
It's all tied up moving into the final games of the series! Tim's Titan Transnational claims to provide The Way Forward, but Steven's Valencia is determined to ...
Another great video. I haven't played Netrunner for ages - stopped buying
cards during the 1st cycle. So it's really interesting seeing the new
cards/new options. And I'm tempted to get back into the game.
Hey Chris. I am unable to get What Lies Ahead and therefor can't get Imp.
Is there anything I could use in its place as a sort of work around until I
get Imp? Or do you have any suggested builds for Noise that doesn't involve
what lies ahead? Thanks.
You could check with your play group, most don't mind if you just make a proxy for Imp until you can get the real one.Otherwise, the closest alternatives would be Gravedigger (Order and Chaos) or Lamprey (Upstalk). Scrubber (ASIS) is also ok for trashing resources, but unfortunately not a virus.
