How so? The Padfone S is a wonderful device that does not force you to pay exorbitant dollars for nothing. It has excellent features.

Ohhh. Thanks for your input! Will probably put a screen protector on the tablet then. Might you happen to know the exact dimensions of the actual screen from corner to corner? Thinking about using the tablet as a carputer possibly...but need it to fit a 7-8" opening.

+Rob Romanowski That's sad. The very first model (years ago) was well made. my kids still use it, and it holds up to their abuse. but looks like it went downhill from there.

Same here, Mine broke after 6 weeks, the powered antenna broke, AT&T replaced the phone with another PadfoneX referbed, it broke in three days!! These things are garbage!  DO NOT BUY!!!
