True French Bread
//www.southernfrugal.com True french bread has a hard crust and is bland which makes it go well with many foods.
I am making this today 1/7/2015. It looked so good to see you do it and
made me hungry-so I sure hope it turns out good. My husband loves French
Bread. Thanks Phyllis.
Bread and Circus USA: Sports Bar's Uncountable Number of TV Screens
(Truthstream Media.com) A quick out-and-about observation and yet another sign of the times in hypnotized America: this sports bar has its patrons soooo ...
I find this very pretentious.
Different people enjoy Dinner, or hang out in different ways.
Some people like having a 'lovely' conversation and some like watching TV
and drinking Beer.
Nothing is wrong with that.
You're saying the fashion in witch people enjoy themselves being different
from yours is everything wrong with society.
That's Ridiculous.
You're right, Obey. Consume. Watch TV. That's their motto. Obey. Consume. Watch TV. Conform. No Tought. Submit. I'm Lovin' It...
Gordon Feels Sorry for Bread Roll - Kitchen Nightmares
Gordon's first impressions of the Secret Garden aren't fantastic. The glasses are dirty, the foods undercooked, and the single bread roll he gets as an appetiser is ...
+samxyx I would be honored to cook for him, actually. But I'll be miles away by the time he starts to criticize it (my ears would turn red from embarrassment). LOL
+samxyx The show is called Kitchen Nightmares. I think I've only seen one episode where the food was good. The restaurant had issues more in presentation and finding its niche than in producing good food. Point is: all of the restaurants on this show have one problem or another. If they didn't, they wouldn't need Chef Ramsay.
Actually chef Ramsey usually only goes to the restaurants that are struggling a lot meaning usually something's wrong with their food or decor. So yeah lol
+jonathan hart Also good to know that this is his job right now, to critique the food and make the restaurant better. You can't sugar coat everything and expect the restaurant to magically get better..
I want Chef Ramsey to be the Voice on my GPS! Now, Make a right at State
avenue. You had just missed that tchurn, you disappointing cunt! In 800

German Breakfast Breads
A quick look at typical German breakfast breads. More flavorful and less sweet that their US counterparts, these breads are a central staple to the German diet ...
Breakfast breads in America are most typically a thin slice of spongy,
white bread (similar to a hamburger bun) that has been toasted and buttered
with jam, or an "english muffin" similar to a crumpet, but more dry also
with butter and jam. More recently "muffins" have become popular which is
basically chocolate, vanilla or carrot cake baked in a small tin - somehow
it's viewed at "healthier" - or bagels. Nothing approaching the quality or
flavor of bread in Europe - that's why it's amazing.
"die Nutella, weil die Haselnusscreme" Leider ist diese Herleitung nicht
korrekt, oder sagst du "das BMW, weil das Auto"? Nutella ist eine Marke,
und Marken haben in der Regel kein Geschlecht, das entsteht erst aus der
Benutzung - also umgangssprachlich. Da die Präferenzen regional
unterschiedlich sind, ist sowohl die Nutella, als auch das Nutella korrekt.
Anscheinend gibt es auch Leute, die der Nutella sagen. ;-)
It's strange that in the US, people seem to have "sweet" breakfasts while
in Germany (and here in Austria too btw) we tend to have "salty"
breakfasts. I don't actually know anyone who has white bread for breakfast
- except for Baguettes of course. In recent years whole-grain bread has
become veeeery popular. In Sweden on the other hand, i got a lot of sweeter
white bread and buns for breakfast.
Hi, this "weird little containers" are called "Tetra-Paks" here as well.
The milk also has to be kept cool and (if possible) out of light, so this
is the cheapest version. The screw-top is cheap enough to be on any T-Pak
and it is easy to close it again as you've experienced ;) And btw. UHT-Milk
is not the most common here... It is common, but the "fresh" version is
much better ;)
Hallo Alexis, did you know that Philadelphia isn't a cream cheese in
Germany. Many people call it cream cheese, but the official and legal name
of this cheese is "Frischkäsezubereitung" like "Preperation of
Creamcheese": Bc real cream cheese is bad after a few days. Philadelphia
and others hold a whole month. And in making this stuff is nothing like
making cream cheese anymore.
eeehm...not you don't :D I'm a German studying in the Netherlands and I
always "have" to bring my own bread, since most of the bread offered in NL
is also white, soft and flavorless and you have to eat 6 or 7 slices to get
full... For sure you Dutch people got other nice things however bread is
not one of them ;)
Pay attention to the words "länger haltbar" on the milk. It means you get
UHT milk, labeled as "fresh" milk. If you don’t like UHT (like me), you’ll
quickly notice. It sucks. Make sure the milk’s not heat-treated except for
normal pasteurization. It will taste so much better.
The containers you've seen in US shows are "Tetra-Paks" they look similar
but the top is simply folded and most don't have a screw top. The milk is
fresh and has to be kept cold. It has not been UHT sterilized. For some
reason Americans don't buy UHT milk so it's not available.
sry for you :-) but there are so many different types of water heating in
germany. Central heating, Gastherme (don't know the english word) and
Tankless heaters. There are two types of Tankless heaters and you got the
older ones which are a little more difficult to handle ;-)
these weird little containers... LOL ! I know that in the US everything you
can drink is packed in at least 15 gallon plasticbottles ;-), but "weird
little container" sounds really funny. It´s called a Tetra Pak and is the
most commen packaging in Eurasia...
Deutsche bzw.
When I was in the USA 2 years ago we spent half an hour to find some
"normal" bred in the grocery store! They only had white bread and after 2
days we got tired of it. But besides that I loved every single thing about
the USA! I'm so excited to go tere again
We had the american style tetra pak, but the screw top showed up to be more
popular with the customers. There are many different types of milk offered
in these containers fresh milk, UHT each offered as "BIO" or not and with
different percentage of fat
You don't want to know. It's not even bread. It's a soft fluffy white dough
filled with chemicals and it has no taste. You have to toast the bread in
order to put anything on it otherwise you'll just cut it to pieces.
American food is shit.
dont worry, the first time a german comes to the U.S. and sees a ATM
DRIVETHROUGH!!!!!! It brings the same reaction or a walmart with golfcabs
to drive through the shopping mall the first 3 days in the U.S. i was like
" What the fuck!?" :D
Ah, the irony. It's also the most popular American brand, named after a
city in Pennsylvania - so to see it in Germany alongside all these German
brands was funny! ...and it is good! :)
this video is hilarious. like they made a really big discovery lol. just
wondering who the fuck eats cherry bread stuff for breakfast. never met
ANYONE whodoes that (and im german).
Don't get me started on the German water heaters that clunk back and forth
from lukewarm to boiling hot with no warning. I finally figured out what
"II" meant only last month!
i love that....i can imagine how you feel when i was in the USA the first
time i used to be just like you.... i never saw milk in such big plastic
containers before lol
Die Brötchen sind vom Bäcker... Oder hat jemand schon so ein Plunderstück
beim Aldi oder Lidl entdeckt? :-P > Weird containers Best comment! Really
had to laugh :-D
lol thats so funny i am from germany and you guys are talking about this
bread like its gold or something :D but actually thats just regular bread
for us :D
>in these weird containers Wait, I thought everyone had those? I've seen
them in tons of US shows and movies, usually just in an entirely white
package.
