He just switched heads when he got closer to the edge, same solution, diffrent head. Great technique, didn't get on the roof. Don't let this SH dry though, using this technique, which is the best, you will never get the stain off if you do! what is the surfactant, seems aweful soapy?

Did you first apply the cleaning product and then switch to water to hose it off the second time you used the hose? If so, how come you didn't completely cover the roof with the cleaning product first, like right above your ladder.Thanks

Finally I came across someone who knows what they are doing. I've been doing this method for years. I laugh at these other videos that are "pressure washing" their roof's They come down Soaking wet. CONGRATS, job well done!

I use water and Sodium Hypochlorite and follow the roofing manufactures recommendations for cleaning roofs.

Please look up what the shingle manufacturer recomend for cleaning there product. You guessed it. Bleach. Not this stuff. I wash roofs for a living and would get laughed out of a job using this product. And you guessed it again, I don't rinse my roofs either.

My roof is only 5 years old and the north side was all dark with mold stains. I had a local roofing contractor give me a quote of $1,200 to shampoo only the dirty side of my roof. I found Spray and Forget on the Internet and I went out and bought a small bottle at the local hardware store. I didn't wet any plants or anything down. I just hooked up a garden hose to the applicator and thoroughly soaked my roof and left it like that. Four days later we had a pretty heavy rain and low and behold all the mold streaks were gone and my roof now looks brand new, which it is. I'm satisfied with the product. Thanks.
