Non-human animal sacrifice pisses me off. This seems to be a burden which
is embedded in our society, even in people who claim to love non-human
animals. Human sacrifice pisses me off too, but that's a more complicated
issue. I suspect that they may have the same origin and beneficiaries.

argument doesn't make sense to me. it would be like saying oats are high in
carbohydrates (true)? increasing your intake of carbohydrates will rase

i know understand why obese guys are called bonkers. they eat so much food
and fail to burn all that ,but i was a bonker and used to train hard and no
weight loss. after i have reduced my calorie intake and and started
drinking more water and some amount of exercise, i lost 5 kgs or 11 pounds
immediately (1 month) now im 80 kgs and will hit the 60 kg mark soon , and
remember guys ,there should be no sign of an injury,take rest ,and enjoy
calorie is a measure of energy, animals can digest certain foods better
than others, "the fat you eat is the fat you wear." Ask the Atkin's estate
if the Atkin's diet works. When the old boy died he was 6 ft, 258lbs. Does
that sound healthy to you? He also had at least one heart attack that was
reported, the state of his heart at death is under debate. Look at
populations that eat good quality carbs, they are all thin or normal.
Vegan isn't the only way to lose weight in a healthy fashion. I've lost
100lbs in 1 ½ years on a healthy balanced diet and exercise. Oatmeal,
salad, grilled or boiled chicken, turkey, fruits, and yogurt. With drinking
water only. I've seen a couple of friends of mine who are vegans have a lot
of health problems. Watch the fried foods, sweets and sodas, that's all you
need to do ppl.
It just kind of sucks never seeing any progress. I'd like to be able to
advocate veganism better to my peers, but I am not the picture of health or
fitness. Sure, I don't have ADHD or acne or such health problems like other
kids, but to them I just look fat. Sure I could outrun any of them, but
again, I'm more uncomfortable with my body than anyone I know..
I definitely put on weight when I add in cooked starches, even while
keeping the fat low, I don't understand why. Falls off me though when I
just eat fruit. Starches are obviously a better option than meat and dairy
but I don't think everyone's neccessarily going to do so well with cooked
starches. Just thought I'd add a different perspective...
Not exactly EASILY.. it can still take years. been high carb vegan for 4
years. Tried all variations of it. Still chubby (regardless of the 20 miles
I run a week). Maybe my body just doens't follow the rules, eh.. (of course
though, I have gone from obesity to chubby. But not fitness model..)
Hey Durrianrider, what do you think about the baked potato? I live in a
cold winter climate and I am looking for a healthy warm meal. I eat just
the baked potato plain with none of that fancy stuff. I feel it helps warm

Salt destroys your taste buds a bit, Allowing only hardcore stuff like salt
to even get a zing. You have no idea of the other 60% of flavors your
missing out on. It is a muscle, exposed... I'm sure you have a seen a snail
come in contact with salt...right? Enjoy!
after turning my parents vegan, i am now working on turning my grandma
vegan. she saw the pounds falling off even just after reducing her animal
protein intake and now she cuts out most of it. two more months and she
gives out animal rights brochures!
High Carb Raw Vegan is definitely the way to go to achieve rapid weight
loss. However if you want to build some serious muscle I also recommend

4000kCals each day? How many ADDITIONAL calories in fats and protein are
you recommending? Not a very logical number
@durianriders Steve Jobs was on frutarian diet, look what it did to his
pancreas. Ashton Kuthcher copied Job's diet which caused him problems. Life
is about balance not extremes. Peace
@BigChoochWrestling I've started eating vegan..not raw yet but my question
is the blandness of a lot of the foods causes me to use salt. Is this
counter productive to the diet?
