What effects did it have?

The Affects of Tumeric on me have been amazing.  I grow it and also take Ukon which is a very powerful Tumeric pill.  I am a living testimony of Termeric. 

It's not the turmeric that I'm concerned with. Lots of herbs and natural substances do good things. But they are no substitute for proven medicine. Steve jobs didn't have to die. He had the slow growing, easy to cure type of pancreatic cancer. He could have had it removed in 2002 and he's still be alive. Must herbs and spices that have beneficial effects get purified and turned into drugs, like aspirin from willow tree bark, lisinopril from viper snake venom, etc.

+Mohammed AloI see no evidence steve jobs tried turmeric, (you assume all alternative treatment is the same??) in fact there was an article that possibly suggested he tried a raw juice diet (lots of sugar) which would be extra bad for cancer (fueling cancer cells). Steve could of used marijuana, but then the hospital threatened to not give him a transplant if he did. Ironically, ginger has been shown to kill radiation/chemo resistant human pancreatic cancer cells. Dont' get me wrong I still would of had it removed by surgery initially, but don't hate on turmeric and facts. Alternative medicine can mean anything from drinking chicken blood to using proven time tested herbs that have been used for thousands of years.

Thanks for posting, this. Im currently at Uni and want to go into further study into the benefits of grapes. I have Brandt's book, and would recommend it to anyone diagnosed with cancer.
