Wow, you're very brave. My older brother had scoliosis surgery back in December 2012. It was heart breaking for all of us, but yes, he survived. Good look in life ☺️. He grew 2 inches too

Glad to see you fared well after your 32nd surgery Maureen. ~ As others have said, " Such a STRONG Woman". And your attitude, wow wish other can have such a positive one after all that you have been through. You remind me of my Ex (God Rest Her Soul), she went through 3 years of Chemotherapy, radiation but lost her battle on 2/27/13, 2 months to the day my Father passed. Anyway, she stayed strong even knowing she had only months to live. You and her are my inspiration. ~~ Jamie

So you're saying you need actual scientific facts to know that mind can affect everything to a huge degree even though you experience it yourself everyday? Why do you have good and bad days? Why do you get angry or sad? It's all in your mind. It doesn't need any scientific fact to know that mind is a powerful tool and i'm sure that there is a huge difference between someone who's strongly willing to live longer versus someone who's expecting one's own death.

My Mom and I love your channel and your brothers. My Mom has stage 5 kidney failure and on dialysis. I want to get tested to see if I'm a match. I'm divorced single Mom and only child so my Mom doesn't want to take it, but I want to give it to her if I'm a match. My Mom and I watch your brother videos together and laugh SO hard. Human are weak beings. Especially the weaker needs someone like "God" in their lives because without someone to hold onto, they won't be able to carry out on their lives. I'm sure there are many stories on how God saved or changed their lives for the better, not worse. Once again, I'm not preaching but there are reason why so many people believe in religion so let them do their thing. You do yours.

Yes YOU believe that it's stupid. But there are people who wholeheartedly believe that God is real and by doing so, they live their lives and usually in a positive manner by setting standards based on their belief. By that person saying "thanks for everyone for prayers" it's not hurting anyone, certainly not you. On the other hand, if she was preaching then it would be a different story.

I think you missed the point. Prayer and/or belief in a God DOES help some people. People shouldn't RELY on God to cure them, of course. I don't think Maureen is, right? Looks to me like she had a medical procedure done here. A far cry from "praying that her tumors go away." Anyway...like I said, this discussion really doesn't belong here. At all. Show some class, my man.

so far no study has shown praying improves the situation so why do it ? not only is it stupid because ur talking to a imagery person which so far there is no proof of existence but also it gives false hope im sure if ur kid had cancer u wouldn't like it that somebody gave them false hopes by saying he might get better with prayer when its certain they will die...

I find it amazing that you managed to make me smile watching this video, you are so wonderful and amazing!! I am so glad your parents were there too! Prayers are with you Maureen, you are amazing. I understand a little of the pain you are going through. I had a lumbarectomy, where they just took out part of my spinal bones in my lower back. I am now having cervical problems so I may need that fixed soon too. It will get better, just stay strong like you always have. Prayers with you always.

That's her belief. By her saying that does it affect anyone? does it affect you? if not, why be so negative about it and try to ruin a simple positive comment? While i'm not religious myself, i think non religious people should be quiet about other people's faith just as much as religious people shouldn't preach their faith to others.

Get better soon, Maureen! It's good that the surgery was successful and you're fully functional! I remember when I had my surgery where they put two titanium rods in my back because of my scoliosis and I had to sit up. So painful. And I still get super scared of lightning storms even more so, because of those rods. Lol.

i'm not debating the existence of god i am debating on giving false hope to people who are sick or probably won't get better. how would u feel if u had a kid with cancer than somebody told him that if he prays he might get better...Sugar coatings does not make things better like i said it gives false hope.

Aww... bless your heart Maureen. I am so sorry you've had to go through all of this. I think of you often and how it would be to have no eyesight. But, you are such a positive person and you make the best of everything. I pray that you will feel better and have a good recovery.

you do know mind is a powerful thing. Having faith or determination to continue living might help instead of thinking "I'm going to die." I'm confident that i don't need faith to deal with hardships in life but some people need them and I think it's beneficial in many ways.

Why are you such an asshole? Religion helps millions of people get through hard times in their life. You can choose whether or not to believe/take that help, but that does not give you the right to be an asshole to attack people in pain. Get a life man.

Do you think I could get out a top 10 from scratch by the end of this month? Also great video, seems like it would be really hard... and annoying. I don't like blidfolds, they are uncomfortable.
