I also live in Asia and this cooking method is good, but, you can't beat a good old winkle from England. Just eat it straight from the shell with vinegar and bread and butter. They used to be cheap, now very expensive.

Looks tasty. However, it sounds like a huge hassle to eat, having to pick so many little pieces of meat out of shells.

I LOVE periwinkles, a lot of people think periwinkles are the same as escargot (the French delicacy), but they are compeletly different!

Video very well done~! Love Periwinkles but they seem to gross the younger generation out for some reason. Apparently there is a Yuk factor for them and they miss out. They spend too much time looking at them lol. My page //duggan-family.org/lyman/periwinkle/

Winkles are much nicer than escargot in my opinion, when I was a boy we used to have them for Sunday tea in the UK, along with cockles there's nothing tastier.
