For those who came here to learn how to get your project into .png format
and don't want to watch this entire thing...
1) Make sure the logo is first an object. (Go to, "Object" then "Expand"
then hit ok.
2) Export as .png
Lynda.com has the best tutorials and you can get them on-line. 2nd to them
is Digital Tutors. Sound recording wise, it's always good to have a
professional mic plugged into your system, however I found my Alienware's
built-in microphones work pretty good (except for registering my fingers
pounding on the keyboard like punches).
im not sure if i understand ? lol , is autodesk maya meen im gonna have to
do alot of head scratching ? great work by the way .. can you give me some
tips on some of this stuff.
do you know of any good legit tutorials of adobe primeire , and do you
think its better to record sound from a different device at the time of
recording .
Thank you for this video. It helped me a lot. I didn't want to search
forever for a highlighting program, so this saved me a lot of time. Thanks
again.

Element 3d V2 Basic Tutorial. .PNG to Graphic with raytraced shadows.
This is a basic tutorial for taking a .png file and turning it into a 3d animated graphic using Element 3d version 2 with ray traced shadows and ambient occlusion ...
There's a really cool site you can go to that will actually generate a real, working license for element 3d2 and 1! you can also get all the packs and shaders there. seriously man, check it out. //goo.gl/Q30mC5
Thanks for the tutorial, I'm using CC 2014 After Effects and for the life
of me don't see how to activate point of interest on the camera, I wonder
if they took it out?
Point of interest is available on any camera. you must be using a 3d layer in the comp to need a camera. but it's just a parameter. highlight your camera and press the "a" button to see the POI coordinates. press 'a' twice to see all the camera options.Hope that helps!
wow, this is a really great video, especially for someone who plays by ear.
Most of the Dejembe lesson vids I have seen mix a lot of theory into their
teachings (which I don't remember much theory from my paino teachings, I
usually would wait for the teacher to play something and I would play it
back). For someone who doesn't necessarily care for theory and would prefer
to use their talent for playing by ear, this is the perfect instructional
vid. I will be learning how to play my Djembe now.THX
I agree: an excellent series of videos. While I have a background in piano
and guitar, I was recently inspired to pick up a djembe after watching Tom
McCarthy's 'The Visitor', a great movie, with a stellar,
sure-to-be-Oscar-nominated performance by reliable character actor Richard
Jenkins. I wonder if we'll see a spike in djembe interest when he's
nominated? At any rate, you make this all seem very accessible, and I'll
surely be picking up the entire series. Best, Chris.
hey :) that's great... thanks! do you think you could do another one where
you do more of these, but even faster and a bit more complicated? cos this
did help me and stuff, but i did find it quite easy... i just want to learn
something a bit more complicated and faster. or just a few basic (but not
so basic) rhtyhms for playing to songs etc. thanks for this though :)
Went to my first drum circle on the beach and it was really great! I'm
hooked. Just bought a djembe but had no idea how to play it.... Your videos
are very informative. I especially like the split screen - showing hand
placement. So as not to disturb the rest of the house, I practice on my
mouse pad at my desk. LOL. Thanks for the videos!
thanks a lot Jim really good video i have been playing the djembe for the
last 3 months im learning at my school and i fell in love with djembes, i
really want to buy one but i want to know if you could give em some advises
of what should i get and what price i should be expecting thx again =D
this movie is so helpful! thank you so much!!! i bought my djembe today and
i was worried about not being able to find someone to teach me, but as long
as you keep uploading these movies i think i'll be just fine :)
"You should be breathing!" xDDDDD LOOOL! Hahaha, Im laughing my ass of now!
:D Just bought djembe, and I was so much into repeating what he is doing
that I really forgot to breathe! :D Maan, you are my djembe hero!
this guy is a pretty good teacher.. ive been tryin to teach my girl how to
play the djembe forever... not a very good teacher i guess. i would like to
burn a j with this guy and jam out, he seems pretty cool
Had a little trouble keeping it straight near the end, but what a good
series of videos that you have posted. I am just learning to play djembe.
and am so glad I looked here today! Thanks Jim!
find out if there is a drum circle or full moon festival, somewere you can
play with other people. its the best way to get better skills and the feel
for it. practice, practice,practice.
