r u mking thepla? looks like puri or namkeen para. Last time I checked,
thepla are cooked on a pan. They are shallow fried like paratha with little
oil. First at least one side is allowed to be cooked without any oil. Oil
is there on pan bcoz it dripped off from previous thepla that u fried. Cook
for a minute on a side then flip n then apply a little oil on cooked side
then a minute cooks other side n flip n apply oil other side. In this way
only a little oil is used. sorry for tlgrphc lang.
Authentic way of making thepla is here: j3S-Sf8PLdM . The video is uploaded
by YouTube member: riskybiz17 . It shows the way it is actually made by
Gujaratis. A version of thepla is Dhebra (rhymes with Debra) in which Bajri
flour is mixed. Bajri is Indian Millet. Typically thepla and dhebra are
dinner items. Most Gujaratis make excess of their dinner breads so that
next day some bread item is available for breakfast.

if you call this methi thepla then you may want to call yourself Queen
Elizabeth of London and convince everyone that you your really are the
Queen...! You can call it crispy methi puri but not tephla. Thepla is not
fried and no thepla can be made without sesame (til) seeds.
@Jennifer60647 Hi Bhavna! I didn't find anything wrong with your sound
quality. It's clear. It's possible not to understand only if people don't
know the ingredients properly. But as far as sound quality, it's great!!
Keep up your good work.
