Many good varieties of mangoes in Fla. although we are at the end of the mango season, there are still a few late season varieties available. If you life in south Fla, you may want to plant a few trees. I have around 12 varieties planted including some you are familiar with "Alphonso" and "Kesar" other good ones are "Carrie", Coconut Cream, Lemon Zest, Nam Doc Mai, Valencia Pride. many more. most people think that the bland mangoes from the supermarket are what mangoes taste like.

Hi Bhavna, really great video! Love your cooking videos, but these India videos were uniquely enjoyable. My dad's family is from Vadodara, but having grown up in the US, I've never been able to experience any of the fond memories he has of growing up there. So cool to see how your bhabhi was making aamras, esp. since I, like you, LOVE mangos! Thanks for all of the effort you put into your videos - you making cooking fun and creative!

I spent all my money on the delicious "Honey mangoes" for the past 2 months, here at my local Indian & Pakistani grocery store in vienna! there is no better fruit in the world! and when i see your video...all the gold in the world doesn't equal a house full of mangoes, haha! pure bliss! and sugar cane juice...i have to go back to India, this time during mango sesaon though, that's for sure. Great video Bhavna. Next trip to India make sure you show the 20 /25 variety of distinct mango as we in us only know about Mexican and Brazilian variety. Please show the mangoes of rantnagiri which are exported for queen of England and royal family of Saudi Arabia

Are the mangoes organic? Do you share or show the videos of the vendors with them? Watch / look up ( krishnamurthy organic ) to educate people more. Also, easiest way to lose weight - visit India. And 13 ears? or 13 years? ;-)

This would be heaven for me...Mango is my favorite fruit! And my 8 year old daughter grew up loving them too !! How do you compare the taste of Indian mango to the one in the U.S?

I really do not know but we always have from our own farm but there are different prices for each type and reguar type start from may be RS100 for 1kg mango.

agriperma - I tasted a mango in FLA when I visited in March and it was so good, it almost beat the lovely Kesar mangoes from India. I think it was mexican.
