Excellent video, I just bought a new screen from Amazon for US $55, Came today. Following your video, it took me less then 10 minutes to be up and running. A big word of caution for others, I nearly ruined my connector taking it off the old screen. Looking back though these comments, I found this problem for at least one other. The problem for me was it was taped down with a very adhesive tape plus had a bar code label stuck over it as well. Use an Exacto knife to cut the tape around the edges.

Please Help.. I bought a lenovo G570 replacement screen. Below are the screen details. I have connected the new screen as shown in this video and the display is perfectly fine. So, then reassembled back.....Here is the problem, I have rebooted the laptop and display doesn't come at all....I saw there is still bright back lit.... hello. im not specialist, i have not done this, but i have experience in this field... :P anyway chances are that it worked before reassembly because while assembling u loosend the ribbon cable in the back of the screen. open it back up, confirm it is tightly fit, and close. the reason you had back lit was probably because only some of the pins connected. k bye :P

hi!i have a problem.. i have a lenovo ideapad S10-3 and the two bottom rubber screw covers are placed this way it makes it impossible to be removed.Any help?

Thank you very much for this step by step video. I just finished repairing my laptop. To all those who are having problems, my suggestion is that you watch the video several times and go very slow, I mean really slow. Ideally do it when there is nobody at home and you are alone and during daylight. Don't rush. If I could repair my laptop, anybody can do it and I am not an engineer. Thank you Screen Surgeons.

Well done. Clear and very helpful. On my HP the video cam circuit board at the top behind the screen is floating in its plastic socket so be sure to seat it correctly before applying any pressure to the top of the screen to seat it.

Hi, my name is Francisco. I have Samsung Notebook NP550P5C-T01AR (i live in Argentina), and I had an accident a couple of days ago and my LCD screen broke, though the external glass is perfect, the inside panels broke and the liquid is all spilled inside. What can I do? I don't really know where to buy one of those and do I have to buy the whole thing including the external glass? And for that do I need to first verify the model of the screen that my laptop uses, right?

I don't think so! I did exactly that (replaced the LTN156AT19-001 with an LTN156AT19), and it displays all the wrong colors!!! Did you end up replacing the screen? Did you have this problem? If not, where'd you get the screen? And was it an exact model replacement?
