Have you used compression cubes, from Eagle Creek? I was wondering how much more room you would have with the bag you used in this video, with those?

+KL Cain I was very excited to find the Eagle Creek compression cubes. So I tried packing with the cubes and without in a carryon using 2 large and 2 small. For me not using them turned out so much better for spacing and being able to snug shoes and "ungiving" solid items. I do have to say that they made the suitcase look amazing and me feel more organized. Reality won though. I was able to fit much more without them. However, I will use them in my rolling Laptop bag, especially if needing only a couple days worth of stuff.

I watched every minute. All 24. Because honestly your video was that helpful. I usually always overpack wherever I go so I feel like I needed to watch this. Lol. I use my packing cubes for under garments so the TSA doesn't need to rummage through my unmentionables and then I put the entire cube into the drawer at the hotel, it all stays private and clean. I also use packing cubes for small heavy items in case my luggage is over weight (although I use a hand scale, there are times the airport scales are one pound or so different) and I can easily reach into the bag and grab the cube and put it into my carry-on.

That's not exactly packing light. Way too many shirts, lol. I lost count at twelve! I also counted five pairs of pants - plus 3 pairs of yoga/hanging around pants. You only need three pants and 6 tops. I did 5 weeks in Europe in the Fall with that. You don't need three (!) cardigans - only one - maybe two at the most. You can do yoga in your pyjamas or underwear or even naked and you don't need a yoga mat either- that was a whole packing cube.

Do not order anything from Mezzi! I ordered two cases from them 6 months ago and received only one case 5 months late, and it was the wrong color. They do not respond to repeated emails or phone messages. Essentially they are crooks.
