This is silly....the ps4 has vents in between the two halves...not on the bottom....the only thing you might be doing is causing turbulence near the the air in take and the ezhaust. Effectively worsening the ps4's ability to keep its self warm

Mine is plugged into the PS4 and I haven't had a problem. And the fan has an power button as well so you can turn it off as well. I have my Astro A50's Mini amp connected to my PS4 for it to work for chat and etc. So having the fan is not going to do anything to it lol. Plus look at my video when I tested the temp with a laser gun while the fan was on and you will see the results speaks for itself.

+kyi293 You plug it into your PS4 usb port and thats it. No issues at all or you can plug it into any available usb port if you have that option. So no it wont break your PS4.
