I have a 2003 Saturn Vue 4 Cyl AWD, Check engine light is on, coolant light is on but coolant is fine and have a very loud noise that seems to be coming from the ...
Hi here my name is Juan. I looking at your video I think your Transition is
bad because I only see 1 shifting from 1st to 5th gear you should look at
your RPM's a little closer and I saw that you were driving 60-70 MPH and I
didn't see any other shifting. Please keep me updated.
Reading prior posts and from my own experience with our 03 Saturn Vue there
are two issues that will cause this noise.
1. A bad wheel bearing hub.
2. The transmission transfer case that connects to the rear wheels on AWD
vehicles.
Both issues are critical and need immediate repair attention.
Car has been making a loose rattling noise when accelerating.. any guess what it is??
E46 323i Driveline Noise/Vibration
In the video are two pulls one in 2nd gear, the other in 3rd gear. These pulls show a noise in my e46 when accelerating from approximately 25-40 mph. Does not ...
Hey bud, did it make even more noise while trying to accelerate? I'm trying
to pinpoint a similar problem w/o having to replace the entire compressor.
Hey all, so inevitably, it was the AC compressor. I considered buying a used one, but realized the cost of labour outweighed the thought of installing something used as opposed to new. I first tried replacing the belt tensioner, but it only subdued the noise coming from the AC and after awhile it just came right back.
Hey man did you ever figure out what was wrong with your car? My Yukon makes a noise that gets louder as I accelerate and then stops when I let off the gas. It doesn't happen unless my a/c is turned on.
+kyle51895 Hi! Can I ask if it was the AC alternator or the belt? Or do you mean you had the belt issue fixed along with the alternator? have the same problem/hear the same sound. It's very hot here in the tropics but I haven't been using the AC because it might just make things worse. Thanks for posting this though. :)
+David Patrick It was constant, but I could never hear it over road/engine noise, only at idle. It turned out to be something to do with the tension in the belt, the alternator failed a few months after I filmed this and when that was replaced the A/C pulley stopped squeaking.
1999 Saturn SL2 Front End Noise
Video used to capture front end rubbing noise from a 1999 Saturn SL2 16v. Thought it was brakes, but after inspecting front brakes, they are perfectly find.
Well, this is a bit old. Did you figure it out? Was it the rotor? My
thought would be wheel bearing if it wasn't the others mentioned. If it was
just a warped rotor, you could feel it in the brake pedal when stepping on
the brake. As loud as that is, I would think you would feel it like you are
going over a bumpy road surface as you stop. Maybe even feel the wheel
pulling side to side as you come to a stop. One of my cars feels like that
now. I need to replace the front rotors. But that car, you don't hear
anything like that. Just feel it.
