0-100 is impressive but after 200 it's pretty slow. The 435i has "only" 306hp is much heavier but faster than this. And in the end it just remains a Golf.

+Iconocla5t The 435i is more aero efficient than a golf (much less drag). It has a 3 litre BITURBO engine and it costs more dan double the amount of the Golf.

+Ricardo Snoek guess it won´t be much faster than stock (depends on the tuning, but normaly power declines after around 4000rpm, which seems to be around 225kmh in top gear) - but it will reach that speed faster :)

That's a VERY high revving diesel engine. Most diesels have redline closer to 4000rpm.

+Trades46 No car diesel engine on the market in the last 15 years had a redline at 4000 rpm. Almost all diesels today have redlines above 5000 rpm, and most modern ones easily rev to 5000 and some even above. These Mazda diesels, Renault diesels and some PSA diesels rev to 5500 like petrol engines, but there's no point in reving them above 4500 because you wont gain any acceleration.
