I always wonder do you really need soccer shoes (cleats, turf shoes, indoor shoes) to play soccer or will (skateboard shoes, tennis shoes) work just fine?

You can use anything really but cleats etc. will be a lot better. Since they're designed specifically for soccer you will have a better touch and shot. So I would try to invest in some decent ones

Guys, improve your soccer skills does not have to be hard (I used to feel it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program known as Zumlaxoc Training Program (google it). Seriously, thanks to Zumlaxoc Training Program I have become a better player. I probably should not even be talking about it because I don't want a bunch of other folks out there running the same "game" but whatever, I am just in a great mood today so I'll share the wealth haha.

A lot of penalties are given with football players claiming it hit their chest, when it hit their upper arm. Hand ball is a complex rule, a player can blast the ball at you and it hits you when you have no way of getting your arm away. BUT if you extend your arm and it hits the upper part of your arm so you can control it, it's hand ball. If you could use your upper arm to control the ball in football, the game would look very different.

oh my god, how complicated does this guy wanna make things. "the ball has to go forward before it can go backward" that is how he explains play restarting after a goal. Surely say. You begin halfs with a kick off at the centre of the field, with the teams in formation on either half. After a goal is scored or for the second half start, you go back to a kick off situation."

This could be a great series. I'm a little concerned about you using the term "Handball" though. The infraction is "Deliberate Handling". From the laws of the game: "Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the ball with his hand or arm"

Lower arm* Also, the chest (if you haven't noticed) is very close to the upper arm. They are most likely given a penalty for harming another player's game.

lol the shoulder is fine dude!! the shoulder is not considered an arm. in fact you can pass the ball to your teammate with your shoulder, it's totally ok.

We speak American English, which is a dialect of English. The UK has many more dialects than America. I would assume you'd be used to the concept.

@Thecashflowman dont get me wrong, but Neymar (18 years old) and Messi (22) are the "big stars" rigth now and the hopes of brazil and argentina to the world cup (2014).. They are not "history" they are the future. BUT u r totaly rigth, i just noticed we talking about the same sport from different cultures.. maybe we are moving toward different goals.
