+Phoenix indeed... 990x chipset is required. Look at us Phoenix... I believe this might possibly the first helpful youtube comments stream in the history of the world! LOL Normally there is some troll calling someone names. Bravo to you
+peterpiper0002 What DAGA said is correct, but the 8350 requires 125w, so a good amount of motherboards don't support it. Chcek your motherboard's support list (make sure to check the proper mother board there's a lot of revisions). If you have a prebuilt just tell either DAGA or I that and I'm sure we can answer your question.
+peterpiper0002 You need to find out if your motherboard supports the same socket. AM3+ is the socket you need. So google your motherboard specs. Or tell me and ill look it up for you. If you don't know what your motherboard is, then download a program called CPUZ Run it and it will tell you what type of Motherboard you have. that info is under the mainboard tab of the program.
+Remy the Cereal Xeon 1231 V3 is better for gaming in multi threaded apps fx rules. But there is no need for a existing fx user to get a xeon 1231 V3 gains will be very small.
+giantzfan247 Are you using the MSI 970 board? And what cooler are you using? I want to overclock mine, I have the 8350 with 970 board and Hyper evo 412. If possible can you post your bios settings for overclock.
+random guy Yes it will., I have the MSI 970 Gaming with the 8350. Not overclocked yet, waiting to get a good water cooler first (using arctic cooling A11) i don't want to risk overclocking it with a fan cooler.Setup:MSI 970 GamingFX835016gb Corsair vengeance Red 1833mhzMSI Radon R9 380650w PSU240gb SSD (for OS)2Tb Mechanical drive for games and media
+giantzfan247 haha no. btw a 380 seems to be the best card right now for mid budget 1080p gaming. add to that the boost amd is getting from directx 12. But make sure you have a decent 500 watt power supply.
+Sayan Sen oh sorry i thought you were talking about the gtx 970 not the 970 chipset lol :D but yea the msi 970 gaming does support upto 125w cpus including the 8350,8370, it doesnt support 220w liike the 9xxx series. I have, like i said an 8350 overclocked to 4.8ghz at about 1.47voltage, about average for the 8350. The older 970 boards cannot support the 8 core's because they have a 4+1 phase power design and non cooled vrm's, but some of the new 970 boards have 6+2 designs atleast and cooled vrm's. so the only difference between the new 970 boards and 990 boards is pcie 16x if you wanna crossfire or sli at 16x/16x
+Sayan Sen cpu tdp has nothing to do with a gpu being compatible of not, u can have a 65watt cpu or 220w cpu, it wont effect the gpu if you have the power supply for it.
+random guy the gtx 960 is good for 1080p gaming, but definitly if you have the cash get a 970 or r9 390, those cards will let you max any game out at 1080p usually
+random guy only shooter i play now and then is bf4, but i play a lot of cpu intensive flight sims and the cpu performs great, in bf4 with my 290x ultra at 1080p i get around 80-100 frames, which from looking online is on par with i5 4460. I also play witcher 3 at ultra with hairworks off and get 50-55fps, really smooth on witcher 3 no frames dips. For the price its amazing.
+Chase. Just get a gtx 750 and you will be fine with playing almost all games with that cpu like gta 5 on 1080p, and on cs go it gives 100+ fps on 1080p.
it says this cpu is 64-bit, and that is the cpu I have, but my pc only
allocates 4gb or ram when I have 16. does motherboard have something to do
with it or is it and telling us lies.
+QTLuv To use more than 4gb or ram you need a 64 bit operating system
Review: AMD FX-8320 Black Edition 8-Core CPU
After about a week of use, I've got a pretty good idea of the capabilities of my new AMD CPU and how it stacks up against my old FX-6100. Amazon Link: ...
I just got a new toshiba and its AMD A6 pushing 1.80ghz. Which sux. Will
this go to any AMD motherboard? I have a toshiba satellite i got for 400
from office max.
Erm...dude...that's a laptop...you can't customise laptops or change the parts, this video is for PCs. Sorry bud.Don't kill yourself with slow speeds. Buy a PC.
Hi, do you know who can I understand the amd cpu clock speed ?
I have a amd cpu with this information: AMQL6DDAM22GG, OBALB BA 0834MFM
9432879I80265 - 2007 AMD Athlon TM.
how to can read this information or what is mean that? i can't find it on
google, why they do not just simply write the clock speed on it? i toke some
photo's on this thing and put it in the drop box here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8kfm46pbw3qdpat/AABX5xqLbOqYknr1ftGLkyqna?dl=0
I'll agree that AMD's newest FX's eat up more power. Their wattage on their
APU's are a bit better
Theres some rumors that they're going to make 14nm cpu's with simultaneous
hyper threading and DDR4 Support
I went from a Core 2 Quad to this. It was a amazing leap to say the least.
Also, do overclock this, but get a better cooler of course. Use the 212
evo, it's a amazing cooler for just 35 bucks.
+euheide I echo the previous opinions. Stock cooler is garbage, especially for the 8XXX series processors, and I also use a 212...and it's silent even at full bore.
+IRNatman I can totally confirm this both saying you can't use the stock cooler because it will overheat and be way too loud even at stock speeds and also on your choice of aftermarket cooler as being probably the best in price-performance.
+Darkdevil1584Don't use stock fans, no matter what.//www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435341014&sr=8-1&keywords=hyper+212+evoThis thing will cool your CPU extremely well for really cheap. I'm using this thing and the hottest my CPU gets is 55c, I've OC'd to 4.3ghz too!
+IRNatman hahah i just bought it yesterday for my CPU because my computer is showing symptoms of overheating (scary i know) how is the fan? because that stock fan is FUCKING LOUD and still lets my parts get hot>.>
+Sherm Perry Depends on your gpu but with my r9 280x it is a huge inprovement in cpu intensive games like farcry 4 and bf4! + you can oc them pretty badass.
+Cheeky T Any i5? Funny. I'm an intel guy but some of the i5 CPU's or a couple anyways are just garbage. In case you're interested the specifics of my rig are as follows.Core i7 4700MQ CPU 2.40 GHz with turbo boost capabilities of up to 3.40 GHzDual Nvidia GeForce GTX 755m GPU SLI with 2 GB GDDR5 each16 GB Crucial Ballistix 1600 MHz RAM1TB WD HDD spinning at 7,200 RPM24 GB SSD

+aaron evansSo did I till it destroyed my PSU lol.. Not all of them are faulty though, I have built rigs with allot of different AIO's and only 2 have failed so far so that's pretty good odds..What do you think about the PCpartpicker link I sent you?
+aaron evans I would go with an i7 5820k and I wouldn't go with an AIO cooler simply because I have had 2x of them leak on me, one of them destroyed my PSU.. It was a Corsair H110i GT and a Coolermaster Seidon 240m, I could never trust an AIO ever again.. The Cryorig R1 Ultimate is an excellent cooler, I have Noctua NHD-15's on both my 5820k and FX9370 but I have also built a rig with the Cryorig and it performs better than most AIO's including the Corsair variants plus you don't have to worry about it leaking and killing your expensive parts.. The Deepcool Lucifer is also an excellent cpu cooler, I also have one and its amazing for $53AUS..I added an R9 390 in there because I wouldn't spend a significant amount of money on a 980ti or Fury x at the moment especially considering that Pascal will be coming out in 5 months, the 390 will last you till then.. Nvidia stop optimizing their drivers for older architectures, I have 2x 780's sli and they are less than 2 years old and Nvidia has already stopped optimizing drivers for them, I am having nothing but problems and so are my friends.. So it is better to get the newest architecture such as Pascal when it is released, I also have 2 7970's which is a much older architecture than Kepler and with every driver AMD releases I get a performance increase not a decrease like with my 780's.. 5 months and Pascal and Arcticislands will be released so just use the 390 till then, that is what I am going to do..//ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/VprWgs
+aaron evans"We all float down here and soon you will to":Pennywise the dancing clown..Sorry man but I'm a big fan of Stephen King, any way have you decided on a processor yet?
+aaron evans FX8320 if you are on a budget and an i7 5820k if you have the money to spend.. I have both an FX9370 and a 5820k and both are excellent processors at their respective price points..
