+ai van it does not have a place to rest the glasses on top of the helmet but the new retention strap does not connect with the earpieces of some glasses like the Mojito did.
HI there, would like to know the comparison in terms of sizes. I currently
wear a Kask Mojito Size L. I'm in-between sizes, either a 58 or 59 cm.
should I get size M or size L for the Protone?

I have seen a few comments related to my question, but none really answer
it. I am 5'6", 140lbs with a 20" diameter noggin. I keep running into the
mushroom-head look. I really like this helmet; but, will this make me look
like a mushroom or a guard on Planet Spaceball?
+TheLincolnBlogs Ok, so I'll assume you mean a 20" circumference, as a 20" diameter would be another story! The reason you're having difficulty finding a better-proportioned helmet, is that many helmet manufacturers only have one or two outer shell sizes that are used to make six or seven different internal sizes. In the case of the Bell Bullitt, it uses 3 shell sizes, and here is the breakdown for its 6 sizes: XS-SM, MD-LG, and XL-2XL. With a circumference of 20", you really need an adult 2XS, as even an XS doesn't start until 21.3". That's an inch too big for you. Also, you want a 2XS that shares its shell with XS or XS and SM only, so you can have a helmet that is smaller on the outside. The most compact is the Shoei Qwest, followed by the Arai Defiant, Icon Airmada, and Icon Airframe Pro. Alternately, you could opt for a youth-sized helmet, which would also be very compact. Consider the HJC CL-Y in size Youth Medium. -DrewZilla*//www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shoei-qwest-solid-helmet*//rvz.la/Arai2XS*//rvz.la/Icon2XS*//rvz.la/HjcCly
How does the fit compare to the Biltwell Gringo? My Gringo in "S" pushes
the limits of a comfortable fit on the cheeks, but fits well otherwise. I
cant decide between a "S" or "M" for this baby!
+C.E The fit is similar to the Gringo, though the Bullitt is a little more compact due to thinner padding. I'd recommend ordering a small, the same size as your Gringo. -DrewZilla

Specialized S-Works McLaren Aero TT Helmet
Devoted TT fanatic and BikeRadar honcho Jeff Jones gives his initial impressions of the visor-less lid seen on Tony Martin and Levi Leipheimer during 2012 ...
How do you find it on a hot day? I am waiting for the silver version but I
am worried about how hot it can be especially since my area has
temperatures hitting over 30c easily. And is it possible to wear glasses
underneath the helmet with the visor on?
Thanks man!
Does sweat drip into your eyes? As I am myopic so I have to wear glasses while cycling. How bad would you say the heat is in the helmet on a scale of 1 to 10?
Agh hot days in any tt lid suck. This one is not too bad stationary and the air flow keeps you cool when riding. Once you stop the heat hits you though. You can run a visor or glasses with the lid and I have had issues with the visor steaming up and sweat dripping onto the visor etc.
Just curious, how much difference does having a TT bike, aero helmet,
aero/low position and aerobars etc. make on speed - like would you be
2-3mph faster at the same power/effort, or is it mostly about
power/fitness? I'm still pretty new to this stuff, but I ride a crappy/old
road bike and tend to be in a fairly upright position compared to most
people, and find it hard to sustain 20mph. I guess I just need to improve
my power more than anything?
It plays a massive part. On my road bike in standard kit and deep section wheels I can average 24-25mph and it's hard work. On a TT bike I do 28 plus easy.TT bars, helmet and wheels play the biggest part
Is it really uneducated? A bunch of men riding around on bikes with spandex
on and phallic helmets. Next time when you pass an opponent just do what
everyone expects you to do and slap his ass. At least then you wouldn't be
closeted.
What strikes me as odd is that when you look at somebody wearing a helmet
you immediately think that it looks like a penis...Freud would have loved
you as a case study in Penis Envy.
And I am laughing about how I now am the proud subject to every comment in
this video's comment section. Way to be trolled like homosexual men you
spandex lovin' bikers.
I highly doubt that that helmet can save a racer up to 5 min. Wearing that
thing makes you look like complete dick head. Way to sacrafice your looks
for .5 seconds.
Mate, your homophobic remarks make you look like a fool. You clearly got
some pent-up gay tendencies in there. We're all laughing at you because you
have no idea.
