I really don't understand why they did not do some "Remastered" Collection
discs, Like the rare collection with 30 games. A Best of 360 collection
with 30 games. Why would a game publisher not be interested in releasing
such a console, but giving that emulated version for free. Publisher will
just love sony and support them even more. Very short minded strategy.
Thats a really stupid idea the rare collection are games from the 90s tíll now, and remaster 30 games of the old con sole is a reañyy stupid and useless idea is like saying well web don have new games so have this remaster, this is a really good idea for both microsoft can sello more consols and the publisher can make money with old games because thank to the BC the games of the 360 keep selling and both microsoft and the publisher can gain a good imagen because of this
The xbox 360 is xbox compatible. There more then 461 xbox 1 games running
on the xbox 360, but if you have tried some, there are tons of issues. Only
a few really run well. Main reason for Microsoft for doing that, is that a
lot of 360 users, got a ps4. So they have the 360 and the ps4 at home, and
are happy. Does Microsoft really think they are going to get a third
console? There are over 1000 Xbox 360 games, keeping the 360 is the best
and easiest way to play them. Its a nice feature for xbox one owners, but
will not change anything or will not increase sales of xbox one at all.
+undertaker2099 It lacks on both consoles. IMO it is still to early for next gen. But sony did a better job to attract next gen buyers. So we weill see.
+John Hooper There are a bunch of people with 360s that haven't gotten a current-gen console yet. I think the fact that they can get rid of the 360 put keep a significant part of their gaming library will convince them to get an Xbox One over the PS4. Especially because the PS4 seems to be lacking in first party exclusives as of late.
All games will remain at their exact native resolution they were designed to run at. GTA 4 will remain at 720p on Xbox One. The only thing you can possibly expect is maybe faster loading times, but the game overall will be exactly the same.
In your face PS4. Sure its the leading console by fairly large margin,
right now. But this could turn the tide. Also, maybe this will stop people
from asking for a Mass Effect Remaster Collection.
This is hardly indicative of overall performance comparison. Show some
actual gameplay content, such as the first mission on Eden Prime. Playing
last night on the One gave me the impression that its performance was
actually worse, as there seemed to be much more framerate drops, stuttering
and hitching than I remembered. I loaded the same mission on my 360 and
even though there are some performance issues, it did indeed seem to run
better. I have yet to do in depth testing, so these observations are by no
means concrete.
+plzBSirius I will be producing a more in-depth video tomorrow, including combat comparisons. I too noticed the X1 version dropping more frames during certain scenarios, but comparing the footage I've already found the reason - the 360 version has loads of screen-tearing, while the X1 version has none. Seems the emulator they're using handles vertical sync differently.
Xbox One: Backwards Compatibility Test
I wanted to give you friends an exact look at what the new backwards compatibility looks like! As announced at E3 today! Don't forget to drop a like!
Let's say I had a digital copy of Advanced Warfare that I bought on Xbox
360 and wanted to play with the Xbox One players/servers. Would that work
and is that how it works for larger franchises that are on the marketplace
for both platforms?
EDIT: I really like the way this video was made, keep up the great content
man!
Xbox killed E3 with this announcement Phil Spencer's a messiah now. Could
you please invite me to the preview program so I may enjoy this greatness
too. GT: Kill Joe181
+Mr. Whiskers da cat I posted the PDF in the description (for the games available to make this work), but all you need to do is be part of the preview program
Witcher 2?
Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005?
Jade Empire?
Splinter Cell Double Agent, Conviction, Blacklist?
Assassin's Creed III, Rogue ?
Far Cry 2?
Dead Space 1-3?
I want all JRPG first, you know Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, infinite
Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, and the others.
And why not all Shmups and Visuals novels.
+Mountain DankThose are all exclusives, Microsoft has no reason to not add themAnd shame on you for not knowing Lost Odyssey, that game it's a masterpiece
Does anybody knows to explain if it works installing the disc on my 360, if
it will be considered a digital title? Allowing me to download straight
away on my Xbox One.
+Juan Carabantes those games were free on the games with gold so by you having a gold account and having the games already downloaded it pops up as a digital download
+DietCombOver it's odd though, I didn't own GoW, rainbow six Vegas or just cause 2 digitally on my Xbox 360 but I didn't need the discs to download them into my Xbox one
You put the disc in the Xbox one and then it will proceed to download the game and it's updates, the game is installed into the systems hard drive and the disc is only used as key to prove you own the game
Im not sure because for example I never bought just cause 2, gears of war and rainbow six Vegas digitally but I did install them to my 360 with my disc. Yet now on my Xbox 360 I don't need the discs so just go for it. I'm sorry if I didn't help lol
I don't think you get it. I have lots of games in disc, but i want to make the XONE recognition faster, by not having to use the disc on the installation. So i wanted to know if i can 'trick' the system by installing the disc in the 360, making the games pass as a digital title.
If it's a disc game you have to have it in your console to play it
