Actually i loved the free roam in gta iv gta5 suckballs cops are too hard
and you cant disarm cops and fighting is unfair people dont act like they
are injured but in gta iv they say lots of funny shit like i make too much
money for this shit! or come on man im just a weiner i laugh hard at that
XD
Such a good mission, but the reward afterwards is pointless. All you can do
with the money you get is buy weapons, armor and food. Rockstar obviously
focused more on the story then the Free Roam aspect of the game.
+Baily Lootz I was really disappointed that they didn't include a future CJ in at least one mission and they basically cut Los Santos and Las Venturas out of the map making it actually feel a lot smaller than the original San Andreas. I remember thinking "this is it?" when I uncovered the whole map. what a let-down.
Micheal had depth and trevor had depth, but Franklin was pretty much discount CJ. His story is lame and predictable. At least Micheal has a decent background along with Trevor who's background is also very interesting but as for Franklin? His character was boring along with his background. He was a gangbanger trying to leave gangbanging just like John Marston in RDR, he was the same way. He was a criminal trying to leave the criminal life. If Franklin just had a unique story, I would've liked him a lot better. Not to say Micheal isn't doing the same thing. He is also a criminal trying to leave the criminal life behind him, but he's old so its justifiable. Franklin's young and he could've had a really good story but you can tell R* just got lazy. They were too focused on the Free Roam aspect of the game instead of worrying about the depths of the three protagonists. Don't get me wrong, I do like Franklin's personality but his story was just so damn overused I couldn't ignore it. It really bothers me that two of three protagonists basically have the same background/motivations and only one protagonist actually has an original background. Trevor is undoubtedly the most likable of the three main characters because of his unique presentation, unpredictability, and enthusiasism. He is a crazy, blood thirsty, adreniline junkie! Micheal is just a depressed, bored, middle age man that's so dumb he married a woman who spends his money whenever she wants and sleeps with everybody. Then there's Franklin, who is a depressed, bored gangster trying to convince his dumbass, worthless friends to leave the criminal life with him because he thinks he's better than everyone around him. So, here's the verdict. GTA IV has a better story than GTA V because most its characters aren't boring and were actually well thought out but GTA V has better gameplay than GTA IV because the development of its characters was lazy/rushed. And since the Gaming Community is all about...well..gameplay. The winner here is GTA V due to its gameplay. Hopefully, GTA 6 is even with its storyline and gameplay like RDR. :)
Well, yeah. I think it has a better story since it was able to stray away from GTA IV's gritty realism. The characters were amazing some of the moments made me laugh. Like how Franklin's aunt is a radical feminist and Trevor is very mean to her. Does a deep plotline REALLY wanna be in a game where the internet cafe is called Tw@t
