An RCA connector, sometimes called a phono connector or cinch connector, is a type of electrical connector commonly used to carry audio and video signals.
I'm sure people have trouble setting up A40's to a PS3 to produce audio through the headset, so here's a detailed setup on how to do that. Any questions let me ...
@ShabGold07 by using the RCA cables you do not get "true" 5.1 surround
sound. this is just a secondary option if you choose not to use the optical
cable. you can still click the dolby surround sound button on the mixamp
which will produce better sound quality
How to setup a Dazzle with a PS3 - Standard Setup (RCA Cables), easy, HQ
This is a video tutorial on how to setup a Dazzle on PS3. There are loads here on YouTube, but most of what I saw were low quality and bad audio, or, they just ...
hi i have a clan on ps3, and am thinking about buying a Dazzle, problem is
though, my ps3 is hooked to the basement tv and the computer is upstairs,
what should i do, i cant move my computer downstairs or move my ps3
upstairs, can the dazzle be connected to my computer wirelessly? thanks and
please respond soon... btw good vid! ;)
cwade12c, so say that i dont have the 2nd couple wires not the splitters
but the ones that you said are "standard" with ps3? The R/Y/W ones, i don't
have those but i play my ps3 all the time, i only have an optical video
cored with two ends not three, the hdmi cable and my power cable. What is
the wire you said is standard called?
I have RCA to RCA cables, i have tried everything. the settings on ps3,
resetup... My problem is that the game sounds won't connect to my headset
(logitech F540), i can hear buzzing, which means the headset isn't broke? I
tried to register it to bluetooth, doesn't work tho. help would be
appreciated :)
@cwade12c i had two questions, first, if im starting dazzle, will i need to
play with my tv or my computer screen? cause it would be hard to play on a
22 inch when i need to do my best for a vid instead of a 45 inch... and
what's all the cables i need for the dazzle? could you make me a list?
sorry I'm Dutch and can not so good english. have some questions. - Is the
sound quality good time? - In any quality time record this thing? - If I'm
using HDMI, I have those colors plugs need? - If the cables you need in the
package? - Where can I buy it? and how expensive?
Yes, just not to record. You should be able to have AV cables and HDMI
plugged in at the same time. In that case, it is simply a matter of
switching between TV modes. Go to AV when you want to record with Dazzle,
and HDMI when you want to play casually in full HD. Peace
Of course you can. Just make sure you go to your ps3's display settings
through your other cables first, then select hdmi, and then find the
according hdmi setting for the tv/monitor (unless that is the default
detected source)
The RCA cables your talking about i am going to buy a pair but you said
they have to be "red, white and yellow ends" The ends on these are " red,
yellow and black??" Will they work? They are double sided rca cables
@cwade12c i tried installing the software on a labtop and it said that the
disk could not be read or said there was no disc but it worked fine for a
desktop afterwards and now says no disk. what should i do?
@thebloodyhaze Nice spelling, and no, you need splitters, or y cables, two
female one male, so that you can have one set of av going to the ps3 and
the other end going to the dazzle. Pretty simple, people.
Hey, I just made a video with the Dazzle dvc 100, and the quality is almost
great,, click my link to see my latest video, I used gta4 to test it
out, message me if you need help or tips
the thing is with the two female and one male is that one of the spliters
might favor one over the other, this means it will have bad quality or lag
on the things u upload
Two quick questiond do u need the rock shock or whatever its called ??like
can i juset hook up my rca's cable to my tv ??? or would if i have a hdmi
??? lol thanks (:
I have a problem i have a dazzle and i have a hdmi but i just cant play in
sd otherwise i'm shit can someone tell me how to play in hd and record in
sd? pease reply
@TheLeGiTTGamers I'm unaware of any wireless adapters for the Dazzle. You
either need a really long cord and some drills, or need to move a few
things around. :/
I was wondering if you have to plug the white AV cable from the PS3 into
the white AV cable from the dazzle? Like connect the matching colours with
the Y cables?

How To Setup A Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus To Record PS3 GamePlay
Title says it all SUPPLIES: -Double Ended RCA Cable -Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus -PS3 -Three Double Female to Male Splitters total cost $65-$70.
Wth? You have one RCA double ended cable... so how did you plug it into the
3 splitters and still have an RCA end after you finished plugging them into
your PS3? Pause at the following: 1:28 You plugged in one end of the RCA
cable. 1:59 You plugged in the other end? 2:51 Where did that one come from?
ok guys i did all this and bough everything. the prices for the male to
female cords cost more now. there like 10.99 each. Over all with the cords
and dazzle it was about 140$ so thats the price if your going to buy this
stuff. Hope this comment helped :)
Hey man I just bought a dazzle I have it set up and running and on the
capture screen it shows my main menu but then it overlays at the bottom
showing the time like it would at the top and it still shows at the top too
? What do I do? Is my tv to big
Will this work on a laptop? I have a Compaq Presario with 230 Gig of
memory. Is this enough space to record game-plays as long as I erase them
after uploading them? I don't want to buy a desktop just to record my PS3
game-play!
-Double Ended RCA Cable -Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus -PS3 -Three Double Female
to Male Splitters I think a PS3 might make the total a bit more than $70...
great video though, thanks a TON
ok nice video there. but i do have a problem over here. i plugged in all
the av cables right but it keeps being blurry like fuckin hell. is there
anything i might have forgot ?
i dont get how you had a double ended RCA cable then connected two yellows,
two reds, and two whites then still had three more colors to connect to the
dazzle? please help?
@Dc12boi yah, and it records ur voice. but thats for live stuff. best bet
would be to mute everyone else so they cant here u talk and so u dont hear
them talk.
@wizard101player7 you need the splitters to connect the ps3 and the Dazzle
together. so that the Dazzle receives the data from the ps3. your TV can
not send the data that is on its screen to your Dazzle couse its only a
screen that projects the data received and displays them on its screen. if
you were to connect the dazzle to your PC and TV then the picture that the
Dazzle picks up is black becouse your TV is not the sender of the things
displayed on its screen. good question though.

ok so first of all the HDMI is what I normally use to play games and it can
not be used with dazzle thats why i have a component cable hooked up to tv
that is also hooked up to dazzle and then the dazzle hooked up to pc via
usb and i have the ps3 cable hooked up to dazzle. so yes you need the rca
cables and you get the ps3 cable with the ps3 but if you dont have a
separate rca cable to hook up dazzle to tv then it wont work but they are
really cheap so its not a big deal.
adolescent means teenager, have you heard of that word???? And if i´m in
preschool then why is it that i´m displaying more signs of intelligence
than you??? If you don´t even know what adolescent means and cant even
spell it then you should really stop with making stupid, retarded,
uneducated comments about peoples videos. If you have Digital Troller have
read this far then i believe a CONGRATULATIONS is in order.
@justkillingtime456 the space is on the hard drive so if its full then your
hard drive is full.I suggest you do what I do when I make a video I edit it
with pinnacle 12 then I upload it then I delete it from my computer and
that gives me more space. If you then need even more space the you should
either change hard drive or delete some useless programs that you never
use.good question though
@MrMissingChild you only need it once so if you have it installed then no
problem. But if you havent installed it and lost it somehow then you should
go to a local tech or computer store and they should have pinnacle for sale
just buy it there. The dvd I show in the video only has pinnacle studio on
it so it should work.
@QsQuickScopeQs sure you can actually get a better version than pinnacle
studio 12 I think you get like pinnacle 15 by itself from computer stores
or something couse here in finland I saw a bunch of them in local tech
store so you should be able to get the 12 or better by itself so the answer
is YES you can.
first off i was 15 when I made this video and based on your videos and
channel I can say that you my friend are an adolescent kid who just cant
figure out what to do so you just troll on other peoples videos kinda like
you picture......lol!! but seriously get lost, bye bye!!!
i have a question that you may not know the answer to but i need help: when
you importing video on the dazzle, on the middle left of the screen its
says Where your ploading to and how much space is left, how do you make
more space? Please reply.
@TheZerkaaFANBOY the answer is yes you do need the RCA cables but the scart
part is something that you may not need this depends totally on if you have
scart on your tv or just inputs for the colors of the RCA cables
go back to the place where you bought it and try to explain your
situation.the least they should be able to do is give you a new one.so go
an try that, and reply so I know what happened
Ok I have couple question the cable u hooked up to ur tv with the 3 ac
cables on it do u need that component and also u had and hdmi hooked up
from ur ps3 to do u need that as well
@TheFinnishBrothers thanks for the reply man (auto sub) yeah im trying to
buy a hauppauge HDPVR but it is sold out everywhere. anyway great video
man, keep it up
