"Any footage of the X-2 is rare."No kidding! I've just started looking into the history of the X-2, and it seems to be the lost stepchild of experimental aircraft.

+Setebos Sadly, due to crashes, the X-2s only made 20 flights. That's compared to the X-1 which flew 157 times!

My Friend is getting one of these... Aren't these 25.5 inch scales? If so, isn't that a little short? Wouldn't the low F# be floppy? I have a 28 inch and it feels good but I'm wondering how a 25.5 8 string plays...

I played this exact LTD, plus a 417 and they felt quite cheap. My first guitar was a Squier Bullet Strat and to be precise, they pretty much gave me the same feeling. But the Jacksons on the other hand, even the $300 ones, they were way above LTD. Best one I've played was a Chris Broderick Soloist 7 signature - amazing guitar.

That part specifically sounds a very slightly like a clean version of one of the parts in the song Gravity.   The rest of it sounds like it's from the song The Ascension.   (All from Mask of Judas)

I don't know too much about Jackson's, just that their USA models are incredible, but yeah, I hear great things about the RG8 and some even say its better than the RGA8 although I don't know from first hand experience.

I totally agree with WillianTV100. Bought 2 Guitars on ebay (Steve Vai Universe an John Petrucci Music Man) and they BOUTH had hidden problems and were crap. Don't do it!!!!

+Diogo V. Kersting word of advice, NEVER buy guitars on ebay, unless you know exactly who you are buying from and they have a high percentage of positive feedback, you could get a counterfeit guitar, who knows, always buy a guitar at a licensed store, or a licensed online dealer of jackson guitars

+julio cesar nop, the rga8 costs $2000 and is way out of my budget. I'm buying the jackson js32-8q on eBay. I have yet to find how much tax I'll be, but I think it will have a total cost (with international shipping) of $750.

it really depends on your budget, but if they were the same cost, i would definitely go for the ESP because there are better high-end materials on the ESP rather than the Ibanez

damn i might have to break out my AAC tomorrow after seeing this. i didn't plan on shooting it till next week when i go test out the Stevens I'm building for my wife but i may have to pick up a box of ammo on the way out just to hit the 600 yard line a bit.
