+Andy Davis oh cool lol. I dont know which run this was, so maybe they were still tuning it for the numbers you said
MODE Racing Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo on Dyno with Tune
Check out the MODE Racing Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T as it goes on a dyno for a light tune to turn out some impressive numbers for a basically stock set up.
@StanleyV6 yes I know you're having fun, it's called TROLLING, it's WHAT I
DO lol. ROFL, yea I'm sure you drove a BPU 350Z, funny thing is that could
mean ANYTHING, most BPU 350Z's are running bolt-ons and still won't touch
me. Any BPU they'd let YOU drive, you with your only stock honda experience
is going to be those, not the turbo builds they've done lol. Sorry kid get
over it and no, it's mine, COME FIND OUT lol. Yea, I am a dick, too bad I'm
still the one with the faster car poor lad.
@daaracer Its a factory hyundai engine. dude the theta motor is bomb proof
.hyundai/ kia has used them in there genisis/forte 2.0 cars for a while.
seriously its a nicley engineered engine, even down to the intake ports on
the head there huge. worked on hyundais and kias for 6 years now by far
this engine or the 2.4l version is the best engine they have made. lets put
it this way AMS does a moded short block version of it already. thats a
good thing
@IXGQ4LifeXI Anything that the EVO X engine handle is what the 2.0T here
will handle. Both engines are very similar next to different
heads, camshafts, exhaust manifold, the bits and pieces here and there. IF
you really want to know, the famous previous engines in the EVOs (4G63) was
co-developed by Hyundai too. There's a really good reason why prior because
Hyundai/Kia stepped up their game that there engines were reliable as hell.
@sledhead7969 Its actually not that bad of an addition to power they got
with just a turbo back exhuast, intake, and a tune. Maybe the tune wasnt a
tune for peak power I with it showed more of the dyno graph maybe there
were higher gains in other parts of the power band. I doubt if it was the
V6 they would have got anywhere near that much of a gain just from those
parts.

@IMAuthenticFTW: Sorry but a COUPE and a CONVERTIBLE are not the same. The
S2000 is directly in line with a Miata, Sky, Solstice, Z4, Z3, etc. If I
want a Honda 2 door COUPE, the Accord and Civic Coupe is all they have to
offer and BOTH are FWD. SO Honda does NOT offer a RWD 2 door COUPE. And a
"hardtop" doctored up S2K doesn't count either. -____^
@samuraifugitivo The same place as this car, the trash, because they
realize people want an epic car, but everyone is goign to hate them when
the populus realizes supras were expensive when they were new, and would be
today. And celicas are shit lol. A "new" supra will cost way more than
anything in its market right now, and only fan boys want it.
my roommate has one of these cars, and they are pretty sweet stock. but i
need to know some engine specs. i know its a 2.0L (86mm bore and stroke),
with a Mitsubishi TD04 turbocharger. How much turbo pressure can the stock
internals take (assuming that i'm not a ricer that has installed a stupid
BOV, which requires me to remove the MAF sensor)
In all of my kia, hyundai factory training classes they refer to this
engine as the world motor. Was developed inpart by
hyundai/kia/mitsu/chrysler. . i have worked on quite a few of these 2.0l
engines they are put in the kia forte base model only the sx is the 2.4
version. they seem like very good engines hardley any noise even over 100k.
@undeadkillers "EVOs (4G63) was co-developed by Hyundai too" Could you
provide some proof to this? In all the years I have been into Mitsubishi's
I have never heard of this. To my knowledge the first 4G63 was used back in
1982/1 in the Lancer EX 2000 Turbo putting it into production many years
before providing it to Hyundai
The turbo 4cyl engines that Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and dodge use are made by
the same manufacturer. Each car company just adds their own tweek to it.
For dodge, they opted for a 2.4l over the 2.0l Mitsubishi and Hyundai use.
They are not the same exact engine, just made by the same people to the car
manufacturers specs.
This is a lot like a SR20det with bolt ons 250 rwhp roughly on the stock
turbo. Even the engine looks similar just a mirror image. Only time will
tell if its a though as the sr is tho, so far pushing well over 400 rwhp in
stock longblock, headgasket and all! I have no reason to believe why it
wouldn't be however.
@wrert123 250 WHEEL horsepower. An S2000 dynos about ~ 200-210 rwhp due to
drive train losses, which is roughly about 15 percent on most manual 2
wheel drive cars. My personal nissan may only dyno over 400 rwhp, but that
would translate to almost 500 crank hp, due to the same drive train loss.
I think people do forget how much a supra costs. It is a different class
car. Supras are great but do come at a greater price. A new car with no
miles vs buying a supra for more with many miles but better performance. I
would take the genesis cuz it would be less headache being new.
@cfdp529 The reason is that a turbocharged car is easier to tune without
having to spend alot of money. Convert a non-turbo engine to a turbo engine
isn't really something that most people will do. And the 2.0T is much
lighter in the front which means better handling.
@ civicboost97: You did read this car is for timeattack/autocross right?
And the V6 is heavier with more weight biased to the front making it not as
balanced as the I4, right? We'll be sure to go purchase a RWD Honda 2 door
coupe. Oh snap! They don't make one.
it appears like you forgot to put several things in all caps.."stock honda,
turbo builds, and sorry kid" to be a complete douche you really need to fix
that. and no one can understand you when theres not words emphasized WITH
ALL CAPS . dont you know this?
People like to talk shit about hyundais until you get smoked by one. LOL.
Respect the car for the car, don't always look at the brand or you're going
to miss gems like this one. There are great cars in every manufacturers
line. You just gotta look.
@42OKing69 every performance part will shorten engine life...so if u wanna
mod your car don't worry about making it last long...though, as u gradually
replace the stock parts with BETTER performance parts, you wont be
sacrificing engine life much
@xcruzrr6 witj 4k you can buy the beyond redline stage 3 with full intake
exhaust and upgraded stock turbo + a tune .. you get like 300 whp and over
300wtq .. you can even achieve better numbers if you do it yourself
The Genesis is the new face of econimical sports cars I guess.. Since it
jumped into my top 10 favourite car list.. Its still not at the top. HAHA.
Still its a nice car and I think I will get it when I'm of age..

Here's a 2013 Genesis Coupe with an AP Exhaust, sounds great! :)
Manual transmission vehicles are geared differently than AUTO ones. You get
less drive train loss, better response and faster performance as a result,
generally speaking.
