+AdrenalineGaming Long story short, I have an 18 month old, and can't put a car seat in it legally in Massachusetts... so that's #1. #2 is that in order to make it what I wanted it to be, I'd end up spending $3k on an engine, build, suspension, and paint... and still have a 76' Ranchero. So I figure I'd save up for what I really want... early 50's Chevy 3100, or late 60's C10. Parts are cheaper, abundant, and it'd be something that's worth more in the long run.

+Aaron Buck Because of it's design, the PCV valve (positive crankcase vent) vents crank case air (the air from inside the engine where the oil is) to the air intake. On the HEMI engines, there tends to be "blow by", meaning oil will get sucked into the PCV system and get pushed into your intake. So you're essentially coating your entire intake manifold and intake ports with oil... This will eventually turn to sludge because it's not circulated, or filtered. Not to mention, the excess oil going into the combustion chamber can cause a lean condition and trick the computer into modifying your ignition timing to compensate... which is bad and can lead to pinging, poor performance and un needed wear and tear.
