If you use the stock xmods junk board all you can get is the stock gen1 or evo radio each is a POS. Those hobby grade board either Losi or Miniz use standart AM 27mhz system. The toy board on xmod use the same but is propreatary....blah blah blah... That's why we  change board on xmods...otherwise they are just toys and not a real RC. It's night and day the diference, the feel...the xmods radio or board are not propocional...they have only 5 or 7 steps in either steering or throttle, better then a wallmarket toy but still not enough...

They are the same as 2 AA in size but  a rectangle! Don't remember if need to cut the midle of the gen1 AA batery holder or not. But you will see. It''s very easy or even not doing nothing besides remove the wire of minus (-)

Not even 60 :P If you want for the Gen1, look only for the Gen1 ones! You will find it! But the MiniZ li-fe baterys are a drop in no mods on miniz's and on gen1 xmods. On evo car or truck need some mods. Nothing major!

+LenierEusoj My next step is to put 2s li-fe 6.6v from the Miniz. Keeping maybe the motor, but on a Ball Bearing can with Neo Mags. Or change it for a Atomic Stock motor or something alike! :P Thanks!
