@wolfman9999999 -Bought my Hyundai Excel in 1990, put 280,000 miles on it. Bought an Elantra put 170,000 on that one. Bought my 2002 Accent in 2002, it now has 107,000 miles on it. Dirt cheap and they last long enough to get your money's worth. Your looks nice, I like it... Out of curiosity, what's the thing on the left? Is a fuel monitoring doodad, or something else?

Your car is much like the Accent Sr. But it was only made in 2007. Full skirt package, fourwheel disc brakes with abs and rims like yours. It has a temp. gauge , fuel , tach and speedo. I can't understand why they got rid of the temp gauge. Still a great little car. They have come a long way from the stuff they made in the 80's. They are worth a look.

@ro22tol I am not sure. I've only had it up to 70 once to see where the revs were. 3500 RPM at 70 is too noisy and high strung for my tastes, so I've always kept it down to 55, where the revs sit at a much quieter (but still too high) 2700 RPM. I want to find a six speed manual model of the 2012 Accent to take for a test drive.

Question for you. Does your car have the overhead map lights with sunglass holder located between the sunvisors? It is listed on my window sticker, but it's not there. Just the headliner material. For overhead lights, I only have the dome light dead center in the headliner and the two visor lights one under each sunvisor.

It is a pretty neat little car. I like that it can be flat towed behind my RV, is good on gas, and has on hell of a warranty to back it up. This car is so far apart from the first and second generation Hyundai Excel, you'd be hard pressed to believe that the same company built the cars.

I just purchased the exact same car. 2011 accent se silver/black. It hadn't sold and there were some good discounts. What is your highway MPG at say 70mph?

@monkeyknuckles2 The thing on the left is an ultragauge. I bought it online for the purpose of adding missing gauges, and for tracking fuel economy.
